It goes two ways - to either protect the husband and the wife (so the cow doesn't bring home STDs) or encourage him to be more promiscuous.

Either ways, it's a _fucked up situation. A cow will be a cow no matter how hard you try to stop it. A cheat often learns the hardway which makes his housewife a target so Stella and other women might wanna be careful.
