That is why we keep asking fellow Ndigbo to actively support APC. With APC, Ndigbo will be active in the administration and by 2019 or 2023 Ndigbo will be well position for the VP (in 2019) or President (in 2023). But what we have are some people demonizing a vibrant and progressive National Political Party.

Also, I wish to sound it clear that Nigeria will NOT divide, it is time that Ndigo will participate fully in Nigeria's system and not one leg in - another leg outside.

I believe the administration of Buhari will benefit Ndigbo as we will get our full share of any government policies and programmes. Thank God for Rochas, Ogbonnia Onu and Ngigi who kept the flame alive.

We only have one country being Nigeria, let help in making it work.
APC should just build the 2nd Niger bridge for Ibos, it has been delayed long enough. Yes, Rochas, Ngigie and people like you are Ibos seem to have come from a different Ibo source than the likes of Bebiosisi, phockman, ngkawe, and co. When you list the Ibos who want to be in Nigeria and support its success, they are in the minority. This will always make other Nigerians to also be indifferent to the cause of the Ibos, hence a recurring problem. The day it is clear that Ibos now see Nigeria as their own country, delete all the crap about Biafra from their heads, mind and internet and delete all the useless books, then I see them clinching the ticket at the primaries, and going on to have a candidate in the general election. But calling north animals and cow, west ofenami, middle belt slaves to some other people and SS as peoplw who don't matter, then they will not be taken seriously too!

With the current PDP arrangement, it's nothing but dead end for ibo people even God forbid after gej in 2019. You can not win anything without the same Hausa and Yoruba you insult everyday..

On 2nd Niger Bridge: Jonathan has already enslaved Ndigbo by insisting to install Toll Gate on it for 25 years to recover the money used in building it from the South East and other users. (Tell me how many Federal that comes with such heavy price?). These are some of the things Ohaneze and South East Governors should guard against instead of auctioning Aligbo for Nicknames.

It is still not too late for Ndigbo to come on board. But clinging on to the drowning Jonathan and and bad-mouth fellow citizens will further make others to view Umu-Igbo with disdain and suspicions.

With the current political equations, If GEJ wins and rules till 2019, the North will be gearing to take over from him.
That's another 8 Years.

If Buhari wins, it is back to the North once more.

It is unfair that a vibrant ethnic group full of intellectuals and gurus are not even considered as factors in the Nigerian political equation, Sad!

All those Igbos like Berem and co shouting Sai this and Sai that.. Which way Igbo Kwenu?

Lets share our views..
you should blame your political leaders that ban any igbo from contesting against GEJ in 2011 and refused to support any Igbo candidates because GEJ promise them money

Nigerian hate the igbos for no reason at all , just like the arabs hate the jews. Do you know that since 1967 no igbo man has been made minister of works

APC is the party that will ensure that Igbo man becomes President after Buhari, whether in 2019 or 2023, not PDP. After Jonathan, PDP will zone the ticket to the north. This will dash the dream of Ndigbo that Jonathan will handover to them. Already, Ayo Fayose has been saying it that after Jonathan in 2019, the north could have it.

GEJ sold off ibo people to JB for 25 years toll payment so I don't see APC doing anything unless they revoke or buy out the heavily over inflated contract.

Sometimes we cal GEJ mumu, but the he's not mumu when it comes to playing ibo people like guitar. He promised ibo people the bridge, but he instead tripled the cost of the bridge and asked them to pay for their own bridge by paying toll fees to JB for 25 years...

This is classic bait and switch ...

Who is the upstanding candidate? What about a name or two?

Btw, ibo people are majorly part of every single administration in the history of Nigerian either as President, head of state, vice president, senate leader, party chairman, SFG, ministers, governors, agency directors, institution heads like the CBN and so on ....

Your governors collects taxes and allocations, but not 1 of them have built 1 single classroom since 1999, they haven't commissioned any major project in years and maybe even since 1999.

You are part of the mess and you participated actively from Stella Oduah to the rest of the crooks from your side of the country so don't come here missyarning about Hausa Yoruba. ibo people are very dominant in this worthless and the most corrupt administration in the history of Nigeria..
Its not in my interest to argue with you about whether the Igbo politicians are upright. Just give me names of other politicians from other tribes u assumed have upright people.

I don't like how we Nigerians reason. Don't paint your people as angels and Igbos as devils because last four years is just on same level as OBJ, Abacha, IBB, etc administration. Yorubas and Hausas have been the key players in the Nigerian leadership.

During their tenure, what did they bring to this country? We Nigerians are always sentimental/tribal or religions biased or both, that is why our wealthy crooks called politicians play around with our intelligence. Why do you paint other tribes leadership as good/average when you know fully well that you're just lying to yourself?

This is why I said it that God will never bless this country till we reason like human beings. Even the monkeys we get vexed for being called by the whites behave better than we blacks because they value their kind.

If you still have the mentality that your people and Hausas are upright, just give me a few examples of the ones u know that were upright. Also, don't forget that the best thing to ever happen to NAFDAC is Dora and how any allegations were labelled against Soludo while in office?

This is an ibo administration whether you admit it or not! President Jonathan has stated categorically at different fora that the ibos are the pillars of his Administration so what more evidence do you need?

Even if Biafra is created an Eboe will not rule how much more Nigeria. Let us be serious please,How can Eboe rule Nigeria, what kind of joke is that?
I do not know why people like to heat up the polity. It is a settled matter that that position is strictly forbidden and a no-go area for Eboes. That is part of the condition of Biafran surrender so people should stop being . Eboes can only watch others become president but they cannot do it.

Igbos, since 1970, have not been the president of Nigeria.
That is getting up to 50 years by the time GEJ finishes..

Pray, tell; is the average Igbo man suffering more than the average, other Nigerian?

Igbos do not need the presidency, and their current status in post civil-war Nigeria attests to that.

Igbos don't need the presidency'swork, rather, the presidency needs Igbos - if at all.

The avegare Igbo person in not fixated on Igbo presidency, thank goodness.

Igbos can achieve SOOOOOO much in the region without being president. The region is made up of states and each state has its own system of government. There are governors in Nigeria that have been able to make positive impacts in their state without having a president from their tribe or even their party.

That fact is a challenge to Igbos chanting "Igbo presidency."

Igbos should come together and plan as a region. They should start looking at what they can achieve with what is available to them now, if they are able to do that, it actually won't matter whether the president is Igbo or not.

To answer the question, I don't think there will be an Igbo president, but I don't think it matters.
Re: When Will An Igbo Man Rule Nigeria? by tonychristopher: 3:17pm On Jan 14, 2015
I have looked at the tribes that produced presidents and I have noticed the level of complacency amongst them ..with all the years north rule look at north today ..look at Ibadan then the stomach infrastructure...

I think if presidency will make Igbo complacent and dependent on governments to spoon feed them..then I think we do not need it

We need economic emancipation.. we need economic domination.. we need to have the economy in our hands ..that I think we are achieving so

Keep the leadership it aint worth it
