besttrader: Quite on point! The inept, corrupt, insensitive, mindless and clueless Federal Government indeed MURDERED this policemen given the fact that they are poorly kitted to fight crime! It annoys me greatly when I see The Commissioners of Police drive around in expensive BMW official cars and AIGs in brand new Toyota Prado Jeeps heralded by BMW motorcycle outriders while equipment for the core duty of fighting crime are not provided!! Our leaders are a very wicked and selfish lot - you need to see how well kitted the policemen that guard them are! Armed to the teeth - even with daggers!!! Something is seriously wrong with us!!!! God have mercy!!!! 7 Likes 3 Shares |

ohhh ... my hometown ooo. such a pity, the area is a very busy place because ikare is the commercial nerve centre of Akokoland, i even heard the robbers were dressed in military uniform. Somehow i suspect the robbery has political connection ... |

odeotito: Let me just say they were killed because they lack strategies. Am staying around Owo in Ondo State. We were made to understand that those policemen drove their Van into the robbery scene. Instead of them to park somewhere far from the scene and then move slowly with their foot, they were just blowing siren and drove into their hand. 1 Like |

As rightly stated above, it is not the duty of soldiers to protect banks and other civil institutions. In fact we are not supposed to see them anywhere except in the barracks. The roads leading into and out of towns are supposed to be watched by the police mobile or not, but their woeful performance always leaves a lot to be desired. It always appears that they forget the skills they acquired during training as soon as they leave training camps because of their excessive quest for money. from the pics it appears they were not prepared for what hit them and the situation may remain the same for a very long time until the police stop usurping the duties of courts, intimidating innocent citizens and begin to take their job seriously. |

Ashmark:all Nigerians can go and die for all they care, in as much as they're in Aso rock spending 4billion on food and their extravagance lifestyles. As far as they're concerned they don't mind ruling over dead Nigerians. These people don't care about us, the kind of anger in me is such that i don't care stoning them when they come to solicit for our votes 1 Like |

Rip to those poor police officers, it looks like they were shot at close range in the head with a high caliber rifle. You can't pay me enough money to be a cop in a country like Nigeria. Hope those bastards are swiftly tracked down and brought to justice, but don't bet on it human life as become so cheap in Nigeria now, that by tomorrow we might not even hear anything about this incident anymore. |
