If you I became careless about taking care of my family, outsiders will notice and they will lecture me on how to take care of my family. Something is not right about our military's strategy at handling this Boko Haram issue. If we don't admit it we may not be able to start the process of addressing the wrong.
And the countless thousands of US troops that have been killed fighting ragtag terrorists, I guess their methods must be really efficient, correct? If the ''mighty'' US can sustain heavy setbacks fighting rag tag militants... anyway... why bother with sellout cretins like you?

firetrap:
So many Nigerians are gullible and will believe anything the see on CNN. CNN is the propaganda tool of the USA have and their campaign of calumny against Nigeria has been going on for a long time.

many of you do not know that with the help of disgruntled elements like atiku and tinubu, the USA is looking for a means to exert their influence on Nigeria and if care is nor taken, it'll happen this year. Nigeria is the ideal country for their so called African command and if they build it in the northern parr of the counre, they would have access to all the uranium they would possibly need.

their plot to destabilise Nigeria is in full gear and the election of next month will be the tipping point. when PDP wins this same CNN will conduct interviews with purported "inec" staff who would claim that the election was rigged in favor Jonathan administration. with their puppet Saudi Arabia, they've already stated wrecking havoc on our economy.

Nigerians be careful do not allow yourselves to be used. Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya are good examples of how America has "liberated" a country and since then nothing good has come out of those countries. NIGERIANS BE WARNED

Do you think these DUMB so-called Nigerians have working brains in their heads? IGNORANT DUNCES that will readily join with ANY enemy of their country to rubbish the nation at the slightest opportunity, including supporting unproven allegations and downright lies against the country. I've never seen any people like them. Worthless, hopeless set of people swimming in massive inferiority complex. If a white man spits at them, they will look for the spit and lick it. Hopeless people.

U.S. soldiers lack best protective gear
By Jonathan Turley

I recently received a note from one of the few husbands who knows just what his wife wants as a holiday gift. The Army sergeant (who asked to remain anonymous) e-mailed me from Iraq asking my help in finding him a store to buy body armor for his wife.

Both the sergeant and his wife are serving in Iraq, and both have seen action. But, like thousands of U.S. soldiers, his wife was not given the vital ceramic plates for her Kevlar Interceptor vest to protect her from bullet wounds. Instead, he said, she had to scavenge to find plates left behind by Iraqi soldiers — plates of inferior quality that do not properly fit her vest.

CNN Fails To Interview Canadian Troops

Canadian Troops Spending Their Own Money on Equipment

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Canada's front line combat troops in Afghanistan may belong to a national army, but much of their clothing and equipment on this mission is privately owned -- paid for out of their own pockets -- because the gear supplied by the military is inadequate, soldiers say.

More than a dozen soldiers, who were interviewed during operations this month north of Kandahar, say the non-shooting equipment issued by the military simply isn't comfortable, strong enough or safe enough for this rugged and dangerous mission.

While their actual uniforms are all military-issue, many soldiers say they spent hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of dollars of their own money on everything from desert boots to ammunition vests before coming to Afghanistan.

"I dropped a grand on gear before I came over here," says one non-commissioned officer with the 1st Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, who asked that his name not be published.

"The stuff the army issues is useless."

CNN Refuses To Interview Poorly Equipped British Soldiers

''The British deaths [in Iraq and Afghanistan] have ignited a political firestorm back home. Critics have accused the Ministry of Defense of skimping on key, specialized equipment, including blast-resistant trucks (to protect against roadside bombs) and heavylift helicopters (to keep as many soldiers as possible off the highways). Much of the gear that has been purchased has been found to be substandard. “In the annals of MoD incompetence, this saga must surely stand out in a class of its own,” writes Richard North, author of the new book Ministry of Defeat, detailing the Brits’ mis-steps in Iraq.''

Guy...Let me clue you in

1. You dont fight boko-haram armed guys. They are nobody
2. You go after the sponsors, network and family members. Cut of the head of the insurgence, and the armed guys (body) will die naturally.

Obasanjo told Jonathan to do this, Jonathan said they are members of PDP and some of them are part of his cabinet. So he is not ready to dismantle PDP or show weakness in his administration.

Remember, Azazi says PDP is boko-haram, bokohama is PDP.

Only a bias and political inclined Nigeria will refute all these facts.

A leader that is ready to take these steps will win the war.

Can Buhari do this? I am not sure. I dont trust Buhari too.

Only someone like OBJ can do this
I have followed this terrorism war for sometimes now and can tell you that it is not easy to face it in this present Nigeria. Why?

Every honest action of the govt will be misinterpreted on these three major Nigeria factors; Tribe, Religion and Politics.

When some states adopted Sharia law some years back, Obasanjo had the opportunity of stopping it, he chickened out and said it will die a natural death that it is a political Sharia, that is the beginning of this problem and it begins to grow from one state to the other until the demand by Boko Haram that the President convert to Islam and the famous Buhari "I will spread Sharia in all the state of the federation in sha Allah" came up.

Kano state established a state Islamic police called Hisbah, Obasanjo could not do anything but rather cowardly sent Atiku to talk to his people.

Fast forward to GEJ time, it all started like joke, the Northern leaders, Borno elders, ACF were talking about dialogue, later amnesty, etc while Boko Haram was getting stronger day by day. You will recall Nyako's memo to GEJ accusing him of carrying out Southern agenda against the North and threats to charge Ihejirika to ICJ by the Northern elders. Remember also when Sultan said the army is reducing the population of the Muslims by their killings.

I guess the PDP Members Aziza was referring to had moved to APC. Haven't you observed that the exodus of people that left PDP were Northerners and Muslims?

Put all the above puzzles together, you will understand what I am talking about.

If the president should arrest any of these people suspected, people will interpret it to be fighting dirty with opposition parties or bc they are not from his tribe or religion.

I strongly agree with the soldiers. There is 100% of truth in what they said. I served in the Nigerian army for 8years and 6 months. So speaking from experience, soldiers buy their own kits from the ordinance unit of the army. Sometimes we buy from other soldiers of other countries during joint operations. Soldiers get issued with basic kits like uniforms, belts, berets, boots (1 pair each) once in 3-4 years. We paid for our own medical bills even though we we and our families were supposed to have access to free medical treatments. It is a shame but the truth is bitter.
DO YOU KNOW THAT US SOLDIERS BUY THEIR OWN UNIFORMS AS WELL? WHY HASN'T CNN INTERVIEWED THOSE US SOLDIERS TO DEMEAN THE USA?

Excerpts:

''Did you know that troops have to pay for their own uniforms and supplies?

Cammies, boots, socks, insignia, even MRE's? Everything that I remember being issued when I was in during the late 70's.

I didn't believe it, until a friend of mine who has a son in the Marines showed me the detailed listing of everything he had to buy on his last visit to his son's base. Almost $2500.00 worth! I couldn't say anything, I was in total shock. Also, she told me that her son said when they were doing field training their payroll was deducted for 3 MRE's a day, whether they got them or not!

I couldn't believe it, but the list of items and their prices were right there on the 3 page receipt that I had in my hands. $2499! All for supplies they should be issued! My friend wanted to write her Congressman, but her son told her not to do anything or say anything because it would hurt his career.

Does the rest of the public know about this?''

Hey everyone,

I'm Army (FL ARNG) and when I went to basic (and still the same if I need new uniforms) my uniforms are supplied to me. I don't pay for it. Officers on the other hand have to buy their own uniforms. combat and dress uniforms...

now my brother in law signed up for Marines (Reserves) and his recruiters told him that he will have to buy his uniform and they aren't supplied.

I called BS but that's what his SSG recruiter said...

Apparently they also told him he won't get BAH or anything like separation pay. (He is married with a kid) I called BS on that too. I got BAH (Type 1) and separation pay as well.

Thanks guys.

The US Army is technologically advanced because the US invests heavily in technology and innovation....and their Armed forces are no exception.

As an example...Neil Armstrong...the man who walked on the moon....was a Navy officer...and for much of the 1950's and early 1960's before being recruited to join the astronaut corps...was a research aeronautics engineer...who assisted in the design and testing of high altitude aircraft as part of the research effort to develop space vehicles.

Also....many of the things we use today were invented by US army scientists....eg..the Jeep and the Hummer.(Jerrycans were invented by German millitary scientists in WW2).

Nigeria,on the other hand, refuses to invest in innovation, and technological development. We would rather chop oil money. That is why our army is so poorly equipped...because we do not have the industrial setup to equip them....because we would rather chop money at all costs.
True talk bro. Imagined myself joining our Army and being sent into Sambisa blind.

Are you blind? Get rid of your inferiority complex for one second and read the articles, showing that US SOLDIERS' LIVES WERE LOST AS A RESULT OF THE POOR EQUIPMENT. Of what use then is it that their army is ''better equipped than the Nigerian army''? Of what use is that to the families of the thousands of US troops killed due to poor equipment? So CNN should not interview those soldiers, or report their plight since they are ''better equipped than Nigerian soldiers'' even though they lost their lives and were maimed in their thousands owing to the negligence/greed/corruption of the US high command? This is why i say inferiority complex blocks your brains.

One of these days, I will pick up a rifle, grenades and a survivalist kit, go up north and carry out a lone wolf mission.

I will hunt shekau, find him and cut off his head!

I will pose with his decapitated head in front of a camera, upload it on youtube and disappear into Canada.

I will do these not only to end this insurgency, but to show GEJ how clueless he actually is.
