The suckers are disease-free, have uniform growth thereby uniform fruiting and better bigger yield.
You will not want to take the risk of investing millions on your farm and after some months your plantain has been infected with pest and diseases.

This high yield hybrid banana plant is just 7 months old, i wonder how much fingers it will have by the 9th months.
You need to get this specie on your farm.
The advantages are numerous
Fast growth
High yield
Reduce cost of harvesting
Ease of harvesting as its fruits are within hand- reached.

Lesgupnigeria:
Good morning my people.
So let me start today by telling one of the successful stories of a friend who i help set-up a plantain farm some years ago and he is now making a lot of money from this business.

He approached me precisely February 2010 that he just acquired a 3 plots of land and he was thinking of starting a plantain farming.

I advise him on how we can source for labours, planting methods, best markets to supply and other operations needed to get started on a successful note.

After 1 week of given advise and strategising about how to go about it, i got to the field to start implementation of the plans.
God is Great, so you set up plantain farm for your friend in February without irrigation? Not possible.

Who.made you farmers police by the way.
Show nairalanders your farm pictures and farming experience before you can make yourself farmers police.
You have no farm,no experience,no knowledge about agricbusiness and you are arresting.
Get a good job and Get a life!
What agribusiness experience do you have, to castigate farmers in the agric section as i have seen some quote attacking other farmers on various threads.

This job given to you by your paymaster will.not pay you on the long run. Your best bet is to spend your precious time building your.mental capacity and engage in activity that will help your future.

I just checked your profile and i noticed you open the account yetrday....i wanted to by-pass your comment but i feel the need to leave some statements with you.
Tell your paymasters that they have failed
