I am nothing but an eunuch of language; a mere butcher, imbruing my own phalanges in the bowels of orthography. I am just a discarded arch-heretic in pronunciation; a pitch-pipe of affected emphasis; a nail-hammerer, who only aims at mortising the awkward joint of jarring sentences; a squeaking dissonance of cadence; a love-vendor of gender; a scape-gallow from the land of syntax; a scavenger of mood and tense; a murderous accoucheur of infant learning; an 'ignis fatuus', misleading of benighted ignorance; the senile pickle-herring in the puppet show of nonsense; an eccentric critic of ostentatious esteem; and the overly sharp decibel among the harpists' plectrums.
