Got delayed d second time the reasons given are
travel history
purpose of visit and
personal assets N financial status

other reason
will be unable to take care of my family without working in Canada and two similar reasons like DAT tho i did not include my family in my application. i stated it clearly in my SOP dat my hubby , mother and nephew staying in our home will take care of my children while away and also ticked NO in the family form after writing dia names.

the above reason makes me feel like some of the VO's do not really go tru some application b4 ticking some boxes or dia are always eager to delay people going to colleges or somtin

Or perhaps they don't read the SOPs...

Sorry for the delay. Tackle the reasons given and re apply. Did you indicate your hubby's job in your application? This will prove to the visa officer that your hubby has a good job with good income that can cater for your study and home upkeep here in Nigeria. Your hubby SOA must be robust enough to prove that.
Don't give up, re package and re apply. Sometimes it depend on the visa officer handling your case. It's just luck and the grace of God.

Hi guys sorry this is coming late, my 1st post. I do more of reading but I think I have to contribute my own N1.50k
Centennial College - Advance Diploma Winter 2015
Visa Application - 10th Nov 2014
Biometrics - 10th Nov 2014
Medical Request - 14th Jan 2015
Medical Updated - 20th Jan 2015

Docs
God (fasting and prayer plus vigil ask @ChriGo)
Tuition (Part Payment Receipt)
Offer letter of employment
Pay slip
Leave letter
Letter of intro from company (stating my position and remuneration)
Bank Statement, 2 accounts (both of them no reach 1M closing balance)
Nysc cert and Police Clearance form
Landed property worth 600k (mine)
Sponsor letter from Uncle (not same surname)
Sponsor Statement of account (less than 1M)
Sponsor Letter of Intro from his company to embassy (stating his salary and bonuses)
Sponsor fixed deposit document 3M
Affidavit of sponsorship (notorised no passport)
* no SOP no letter of explanation no travel history*

My course relates directly to what I do presently though my undergraduate study is totally diff, so my leave letter could easily state I needed more knowledge in that area and i will be coming back plus my salary will still be available *even tho na lie*
The sponsorship letter stated that the fixed deposit was for my study and also gave reason why he's sponsoring me (because av got like 5 siblings stated in the family form that can also do the sponsorship; this is to eradicate doubts/why is he). The sponsorship was like a support. I stated in my form "I and my uncle" in the financial or sponsorship column. The sponsorship letter started like ''I will be supporting my nephew..."

Firstly, the relationship btn what I do now and the course solved purpose of visit. I was able to convince vo i have funds for my study with the fixed deposit and my salary they will still be paying and the latter also solving home ties with the landed property ish. The remuneration on sponsor's intro letter from company solved capability of sponsorship as the closing balance is quite small. I believe the content of our docs/letters goes a long way than just having all the docs. We should work more on the contents, tackle every refusal reason before we apply and we start praying because with God all things are possible.

I pray that everybody hoping will smile at last IJN. For my delayed brethren God's time is the best because we know we will definitely get it and for my Gala hopefuls check ur CIC account status gala updated @Fhemmmy
*Please where is ChriGo & @misbon , @Amefrica etc? their generation was the bestest learnt a lot from u guys God keep blessing you, all of una go chop TRV and run abi thriz God oo*

At the stage of medicals, there is no admission letter that you are sending again.I was given my visa 2 months after school had resumed and of course, i had applied and gotten admission to another school anyway as back up since the school i initially planned to attend had resumed and had told me i had to wait till fall 2015.
In essence, what you should be bothered about if at all is at the border entry.
contact your school and find out if you can still make it and if yes, print out the mail.
If you get to the border entry and they ask why you are just coming, let them know CIC delayed and the school is aware.
show them the mail exchange and you will be ok.The guys at the border are much better than those reviewing our applications, lol.
I came into Canada through Winnipeg and the lady who attended to me asked me to take pictures with a stuffed polar bear in their office while they were preparing my study permit, so, no fears.

Please can you confirm the earliest time someone can enter Canada prior to a fall resumption date, I read 6months somewhere but not sure

What does the expiry date on your visa mean?

The expiry date on the top line of the visa is the date by which you must arrive in Canada, not the date by which you must leave Canada. You must arrive in Canada on or before the date printed under "Expiry date" which is read DAY-MONTH-YEAR (DD/MM/YY).

What session are u applying for, fall or winter 2016? I have applied for same course to Bow valley college but for winter 2016... Like someone recommended, conestoga college in Ontario offer the course, the Alberta province You have bow vally college, lethbridge college, keyano , medicine hat college and some others.. Some colleges in Ontario dont give practical nursing to international students though... So if you are applying for falL this you will have many choices as not all of them have the course for winter start date butyou have to apply now or else you will be put on waiting list though depending on the number of applicants they have but its advisable to apply 8 to 10months before the start of the course.. As for the fees I am not sure if its a must you pay all the fees before leaving naija but most of the colleges request for part payment or less before they can send you admission letter or before you can secure a seat..
