It was a laugh!!! Jona shouted......NIGERIA!!!!! Expecting the N2,000.00 per head scanty crowd to shout Sai goodluck! ......... Instead., A rousing shout of SAI BUHARI !!! deafened him. Not believing his ears, that it was coming from a supposed PDP crowd, Ne shouted once more " NIGERIA!!!"....... The same rousing shout came back to him from the gathering.......SAI BUHARI !!!!! He shouted again, NIGERIA !!!! And realising even the executives on the podium with him were not shouting his name, he decided to do it for himself and he shouted, under the deafening SAI BUHARI!!! Sai Ni!!! meaning Only Me!!! And I laughed..... It was campaign with no Billboard or even a picture of poor jona.....on the streets, or even at the campaign grounds. But he was too devastated to notice, I believe. It is a laugh, indeed. The youths, yes, the youths... We lined the streets shouting "Bamu so!!!" at the top of our voices, to his hearing..... Jeering, booing him to the late ,Yar'adua's residence where he knelt down, bowed down, for a blessing that was never to come. He also received the "curse" of the emir and his respected elders, the Igbo clan included!!! So, SHAMEFACEDLY, jona left. And we all came out with our brooms in hand, and swept away the dirt and mess that he is. Wallahi we even washed some of the streets. The NYSC camp is forever stained, or until the rainy season comes. The shame that jona carried away will last him his remaining life. And i love the Katsinawa for it.
