hazyfm1: I can't and won't close my account on the occasion of a spelling error made, acknowledged and corrected by me. If the "people's general" doesn't give up after failing woefully in three different elections and with three different men of God as running mates, who am I then to close my NL account on account of a spelling/grammatical error? #Sai GEJ 2019!! 23 Likes |

With this certificate issue alone, I can't vote Buhari. There is no way a man who is not faithful in little thing like certificate can fight corruption. NEVER. The annoying thing is: going by the mode in which he attained his accomplishments, he will not see a big deal in promoting people with mediocrity. Giving people (especially the northerners) appointments even when they are not qualified cannot be alien to him. People may argue how has a man with PhD fair with his qualification? That question however rather brings another twist to the drama. It raises another serious question: If a man with PhD seems to be struggling, what can we then expect a man without SSCE to perform? I don't want to be taken away by argument that Buhari rose to become a General in Nigerian Army . The truth is that Hausa/Fulani controlled and dominated the military for long that getting to the top irrespective of your qualification or background as long as you are from their stock cannot be a problem. Example is what we see in Abacha. It is their attitude of not caring about qualifications that brought so much rot into the Nigerian Army and even Nigeria as a whole. I personally went to school, studied hard, know my onions, have come to appreciate distinction and professionalism and believe how well read you are determines how you will perform in any given office. I refuse to give in to argument that a man with little education is better than one with higher education. If that argument holds water, the world can as well wipe out secondary and higher education while we all simply go to school to learn to read and write. What is the essence of people spending their resources and life time studying if it can be argued that such is not necessary. 61 Likes 13 Shares |

Nigeria can't grow those you call stark illiterate are even more reliable than the literate when it comes to reasoning. When there was no education in nigeria things were better..now millions of churches, educated thieves. Some graduates shouldn't even call themselves literate. I met a guy a fresh graduate he was so dumb in reasoning. I wonder what the difference between PATIENCE EBELE JONATHAN and an ILLITERATE 1 Like |

Maybe the Immigration sham recruitment didn't affect you or any of your relatives. If it had, you wouldn't have had the fingers to post that gibberish! 4 Likes 1 Share |

barcanista:Bros, it is very clear that Buhari does not have WASC. From the explanation from the Army, Buhari was still in form 6 when he left to join the army, that is why he entered the military with a letter of recommendation from his principal. It is also clear that Buhari did not write his WASC because, you can't be in the Nigerian Military Training College and be writing your WASC at the same time. I'm sure the grades Buhari claimed he obtained as contained in his document at the military records were later included to fulfill requirement to join the army and this amounts to forgery. More investigations should be carried out at the WAEC board. I know with certainty right from day one when this issue came up that Buhari had something to hide. How do you explain the fact that Buhari who rose to the rank of General in the Army and who was one time head of the military records office will prefer to go to a high court to swear to an affidavit instead of getting his certificate from the same military board. Why did Buhari find it more convenient to go to the high court located in Abuja to swear to an affidavit instead of going to the military board located in Abuja to get his certificate? Buhari should please tell Nigerians and the world the truth. 12 Likes 1 Share |

The surprising thing about this "CertifiGate" scandal is that people are actually surprised that Buhari didn't obtain his WASC. You need a minimum level of intelligence to pass that exam and it should be obvious that the toto general doesn't have the smarts. Sai no to illiterate President. 5 Likes |

I am watching this BUhari's CERTIFICATE issue here in Europe, I feel ashamed as a Nigerian before my foreign friends. They said a presidential candidate of the biggest opposition party in nigeria cannot produced his WASC O/level in year 2015 Why can't this old man Mr buhari just step down for other young educated members of APC who has vision for nigeria growth try their best . Buhari after trying many times and failed he should go farming in his village. The reason why Mr Tinubu is more respected than that Aboooki guy 5 Likes |

It is my considered opinion dat GMB and his strategists have decid3d to let the sleeping dog lie. He already dug himself into a hole. It is only intelligent to stop digging. APC might force him to step down in d coming days to salvage whatever credibility is remaining for the party. 4 Likes |

simdam500: What baffles me is how his supporters (educated elites and even the educated youths) seem not to care. I have nothing against the person of General Buhari, but the point is, how can we ignore a simple thing as the educational qualification in accordance to stipulated rules for someone vying for the numero uno office of the most populous black nation? 8 Likes 2 Shares |
