I remember in JSS 2 I missed the promotion exams because I was on admission for two weeks while others were writing exams.
My friends were sad because they felt I was going to repeat the class since I didn't write the promotion exams to JSS 3 with them.
When school resumed for the new academic session, my class teacher promoted me to the next class. The Commandant summoned her to come and defend her action.
She simply told the Commandant that I had over 75% attendance and my continuous assessment in all subjects was above 90%. If not because I was sick and on admission at the Military Reference Hospital, I would have written the exams and pass. Base on these she has no choice but to promote me to the next class. Na so I take waka go JSS 3 without any evidence abi na certificate or result sef!
In my third term in SSS 1, your's truly was involved in an accident and I was in the hospital for over three months. I did not write the promotion exams to SSS 2. When school resumed for a new session, I just waka straight to SSS 2 and kontinu from there until I finally wrote WAYEC. At least I have two tishas who can tell the Prinspa that if not because of my accident, I would have actually pass the exams that was conducted. So there is no need to hold me back. Na so e just be.
I would have spent two extra years in secondary school due to unforeseen circumstances if my tishas had not given me a special waiver allowing me to proceed to the next class, when I was unable to write promotion exams in two different occasions.
Obviously there are students who wrote the exams and were asked to repeat the class because their body temperature was below optimal level. In fairness to them, I don't know why they failed but I have come to the realisation that exams is not a true test of knowledge. Most times I hardly have time for my books until few days to the exams and after that I try to detoxify my system and forget all the stuff I have imbibed into the medulla oblongata.
In this part of the world we believe so much in paper qualifications. The Prinspa abi na Headmaster of General Mohammadu Buhari stood surety for him and based on that, he was admitted into the Army, according to a statement credited to the Director of Defence Information (DDI) where he stated that the Military do not have Buhari's certificate, after the same military have previously attested to the fact that they have his papers. I don't know what to believe again gaskiya.
What are they looking for? Is it WAYEC?
Now based on the surety by Buhari's Prinspa, he was given an all clear nod to join the military. Did he excel in service? Yes of course. He did not only rose to the rank of a Major General, he held strategic positions and even became the Head of State.
So it is really foolhardy for anyone to question Buhari's academic credentials and eligibility for election when it is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that he has more than the required qualification to run for office as President.
It is indeed a shame that the Military has allowed itself to be dragged into this needless controversy. All institutions in Nigeria has been debased and abuse under the regime of Goodluck Jonathan. The military has been struggling to redeem it's image over the protracted battle against insurgency which she has failed to bring to a logical conclusion. Allowing itself to be used by unscrupulous politicians to advance their selfish aims is another low point for the military.
I dismiss the statement credited to the DDI as partisan and call on the military high command to investigate him and mete out appropriate sanctions if he is found culpable. Our military must be insulated from abuse because we cannot afford to have "an Army of anything goes," as former Chief of Army Staff, General Salihu Ibrahim succinctly described the Army at his pulling out parade in 1994.
On a final note, even if Buhari submit Agege bread label as his certificate, we (Buharists) will vote for him!

Have we all lost our senses?
Can't we see this s not an issue of politics, tribe or religion?
Is it not obvious Buhari is daring the entire nation by refusing to talk of his certificate but campaign?
As far as it is he said nothing!

Jehadist or what do you called yourself? Do you think the likes of you wish this country well? Anyway, I am not surprised going by your secondry school antecedents. You don't fight corruption with dirty hands. Food for thought for you. Nigeria is greater than all of us! We should allow all our institutions to function or play their statutory roles;then we would have a corrupt free society. Long live Great Nigeria

Buhari should show Nigerian his certificate,
This will prove his integrity else I smell a rat behind the so call "change"

Shut the crap. Where in the constitution did you read that aspirant to the president office should show Nigerians certificates?

Buhari has cleared the air and shown us his examination year and number, the best you could have done if you truely intend to verify his claim is to write Waec office so that they can help you to verify his claims.

And if you need more than that, you should raise a voice and call on IBB to deny he took the certificate from him. IBB should also tell us where he kept GMB result. Afterall, he was the one that took them when he topped GMB.

So GMB is entitled to be at rest, you are the one that neednto take your cry to waec office and IBB tophill house for clarification. Buhari i has shown us is exam number and year, a case waec should come in for. He also said IBB took his result, a case IBB should answer to. And the military have a record that contain subjects where Buhari had credit, they should tell us where they got the statement of result from.

So dude, take your cry to waec, IBB and military or go to court.

They can't try Oluwole result at this time because the searchlights are

Does Buhari even know the consequences of swearing an affidavit based on assumptions.

For something as important as that and the fact that the INEC forms indicated that he had to submit copies, how come he couldn't go to the supposed military board to assist in get a CTC to attach to the form.

Swearing an affidavit entails facts that are easily verifiable.

Perjury!!

It takes more lies to cover up a single lie!

Because of all that has happen, if and when the sch produces a result for Buhari, it will go under serious scrutiny because a lot of people now feel he has no result and all these gimmick is just to waste everybody's time.

If the certificate suffaces today and it is verified, all opposition will be quiet. That's what is expected.

I hope this does not snowball into something else in this country!

The political gimmick continue, PDP played into the hands APC, instead of PDP to concentrate on issue-base campaign they are busy chasing shadow, although may be they have notting to show as achievement. By the time Gen. Buhari present his certificate to the public, people will see jonathan/PDP as evil people who are trying to castigate the person of General Mohammadu Buhari

This is another campaign for APC

As far as sensible Nigerians are concerned, he has done more than the needful with this press release. He has given his examination number; mentioned those he wrote the exam with and has even requested the school for a copy of the said certificate.

Nigerians are not foolish

Bring out your certificate

what did you want to do wit the certificate? he has told you the prominient people he graduated with and his examination number, if you are not okay, go to WAEC office and clarify. you have all failed. the change must come. in 1999, 2003,2007 and 2011 when this man was contesting none of you asked for his certificate then because he was not popular, but now that Nigerians and tired of the cluelessness of PDP, that is when you remember school certificate. Jonathan and Aba slowpoke should tell was with what they did with the bilions of naira they made from immigration recruitements in which many nigerians bought their death with 1k till today nothing waqs heard about it, all the promises GEJ made after he has caused sorrow in many family, nothing to show forit.

Or his lies under oath to defend the Nigerian Constitution yet he allows his friends to break the country's criminal codes and laws every single day. You think corruption is lawful? When is he going to declare his assets? The problem with most of you Jonathan supporters is that you don't even know right from wrong anymore. You're all confused.
