Too bad for the students after school stress. My other questions were the said students rightly admitted into the course of their choice? I have noticed that some students desired to study accounting because of admission runs or they are so desperate to enter uni, they will be given courses such as Industrial mathematics etc that they don't like and this affects students performance(s)

For a state university, that's just too strict.

[b]Kudos to my amiable and incorruptible governor Rt Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi for sanitizing RSUST to what is it today. He flushed all those corrupt sorting collecting lecturers with the help of 'the lecture nightmare' AKA Fakah which he imposed on them. stopped incessant strikes which the school was known for. Mass employed serious younger vibrant lecturers. facilitate the state school to becoming the first government institution to implement fully e-exam for both student and jambite after building a very massive ICT center (this I heard reduced exam malpractice to the bearest minimal since lecturers do not have powers to influence your grades and the likelihood of impersonation is almost zero). improved the outlook of the school and its environs to the extent of the school enjoying a garden like look with well mowed grasses, flower gardens, water fountains, portable motor pack (not the normal local ones we see in our unis) and generally improved infrastructure ( of course you would not expect less knowing what he did in primary and secondary schools) [/b]

A school that has been on strike for the past SIX years has the guts to expel students for poor academic performance. RSUST has never, in the past SEVEN years, recorded ONE strike-free semester.

The management should be the ones expelled and not the poor student. A friend who gained admission into RSUST same year as I did in another school is still in his third year after EIGHT YEARS while I'm already working.

Bros, academic success doesn't guarantee a successful life. These guyz are potential millionaires if managed well. By God's grace I graduated with a good grade in my first and second degree but I will never look down on such ppl coz many of them are talented, gifted and ambitious, all they need is someone to motivate and help them coz many factors might cause their poor performances, ask bill gates, ask steve jobs, ask ben carson, even ur buhari cant make it to university.

I wish a lot of folks have the same mindset as you do.I just kept on reading the comments of some judgemental people on nairaland.Examinations are NOT a true test of knowledge.A lot of factors contributed to their failings.And their grades to a certain extent would not affect who they would become in future.
