i used to know that Africans endure and try their best to make their marriage work more than any other nation. I mean that was the reason many guys abroad head back home to get a kindred heart for marriage because she will not wake up one morning and say she is no longer interested in the marriage.

But this days, I do not know what is happening. I used to brag about my country when i am in the mist of other nations that the divorce rate in my country is extremely low.

but this days, almost every movie star wants the title of a divorcee as if it was a new trend.

I feel sad whenever I hear such stories. But again, the rate of divorce won't go down, until people begin to have strong enough reasons for going into marriage and also, until individuals, begin to work on self development before going into marriage.

Marriage is not a transformer so don't expect a wayward, cheat, or promiscuous person to automatically change because they are married.

It is high time we start reasoning with our head(brains) and not our eyes
