@ your last statement; Going through the thread, I had wanted to voice out during the fracas but I got busy and the thread was shut with a warning at no derailment. I didn't want to bring the thought up cause I thought it might derail.

Tehn is an organization that seeks to grow and now should act as such. A calm spokesperson should be picked to speak for tehn. Just as Jarus handles accounting, that person would handle all communications with the public and remain calm at all point. The fracas got to the point it did because angry people replied to stuffs they shouldn't have replied to.

I got angry reading the fracas earlier because I wish I had the time then to say 'STOP' this is about DJ.
Now I am saddened; again tehn 'STOP' think of the bewildered look on DJ's face when he is told or reads that you are no longer handling the matter. Think of the mother and other family members. Think of the drooped shoulders...we are different people, once I set out to do something, nothing much less words can get to me. I am not in Lagos, I would have loved to put my shoulder to the wheel but please don't let him go.

This should be a learning curve. Get a spokesperson. Get at least one field worker in each state of the federation.

DJ, keep living.

And to everyone, remember charity work is mostly a thankless affair especially for field workers please encourage the workers and give your suggestions knowing that someone is taking time out to look into them.

I will like to say Thank you to Babyosisi for all her efforts too.
She has been there from the onset and I believe that deep down, she cares for Dj.

Severally when distractions came, I said on this thread to let us focus on the aim of the thread but it seems that some people were more concerned about proving right and wrong.

There is a time and place for everything. Words build and words can bring down. No one is saying don’t say your mind or close your eyes to wrong, however if everyone see this as “OUR” project, and OUR achievements or OUR failures rather than TEHN and US, then we would have ALL worked together. Time and energy that could have been spent brainstorming was spent on arguments.

I remember at Xmas I posted asking for people to visit DJ and cheer him up and encourage him. As far as I know, No one went.

Yes TEHN could have given frequent updates, which seems to be one of the grouses, but as mentioned over and over again, TEHN was cautious on what to post on here as DJ frequents the thread and a lot of the time, TEHN itself was in the dark. This has definitely taught me a lot about the Nigerian health care system.

Bros please calm down,its talk like this that got us here. They have gotten to treatment stage and I hope the brother can take him for treatment when needed as TeHN keeps control of the purse. It's not easy to sit at someone's bedside for close to a year cos his chemo treatment will finish in May. Make una take am easy


This kind of talk and cursing won't even encourage anyone else to volunteer their time again. We make plans and they change all we can do is look for a way forward.

We spent the last few days identifying a treatment plan which we have tabled to the house

We are saying however we cannot continue on this case

The options are to
A Handover the monies less chemo (which will be paid to d hospital) to his family
They will handle the logistics and ensuring he is available

B. A new team is set up to handle it
This team will be given all d funds
