In our society we see the dominant male figure in a family as the father. Being a father and being a husband is more than being a married male whose sperm fertilized a woman's eggs.
In other words being male is not what makes you a man (father ,husband) in the family. Other male animals also impregnate their females.
A husband and a father is one who knows the role of a man in the family and functions in that role.

What's your definition of a husband and father?

He is the head of the home. He co-ordinates the home just as d head(brain) co-ordinates the body.
