The man is right.

I was in Abia state during the tail end of the Kalu regime....and honestly I felt disappointed with what I saw.(The most sad bit was seeing the Golden Guinea factory dormant....and I don't even drink)

Why should Kalu be curbing unemployment in Lagos and Abuja?(And Abia now is about to fall to APGA because PDP has messed up)

You Nigerians....one reason why I do not support secession is that the kind of leaders who will lead you are the same old corrupt clones who are already there now. And you won't like it. (And there ain't no Ojukwu....who was not perfect....but who was at least visionary)

Some Nigerian soldiers have spoken to CNN and they claimed that they are being outgunned by Boko Haram and that they had to buy their combat kit themselves, pay their medical bills themselves and that the morale of the troops is currently very low.

Just heard in the news today that 5 officer were arrested for the attack at Baga. They were informed of the attack but refused to act.
Why do we always think there is an enemy somewhere ?

Hello, did you say achievements? He did achieved but not as you claimed. Lets demand from our leaders what belongs to us as a country. We paid taxes and things should be made to work the way they are. Array we aware that President Jonathan has a lion share in the PHCN south south region with several people contributing 750naira to the FG monthly with or without power supply. A good achievement in the agricultural sector but areas of improvement are still numerous where things can actually be at the rightful place.

Every wise heart should know that this portends danger to the unity of this country. History will never forgive GEJ if there is a breakdown of law and order among the rank and file of the military.

Infact, this will lead to balkanization of Nigeria with different militia in control of different parts of the country and an endless war of attrition. The resultant bloodshed and confusion cannot even be imagined.

I have no reason to doubt this letter giving the rate at which soldiers are being court martialed at this time. And also due to my interaction with an army officer I gave a ride sometimes back.

I think it is time the council of state told the president the plain truth that some corrupt senior military officers needs to be punished in order to restore confidence and the morale of the rank and file.

And the issue of welfare and adequately equipping the army, especially those at the theatre of war should be giving a priority if we don't want to experience a wide spread mutiny leading to chaos and anarchy.

He that hath ears, let him hear.

You appear to love dishing out gratuitous advice and indulging in scaremongering.

I expected you to have the insight to realise that there is no how the above letter could have emanated from a serving soldier.

Don't join the enemies of Nigeria for whom the bell is tolling.

Be wise.

The refusal of weapons from certain hands , by the powers that be is more than meets the eyes.
The accusation that the administration are not adequately arming our soldiers and on the other hand accusation that the USA refuse to sell weapons to the administration to arm our boys involving the fight wth Boko haram.

STATE OF OPERATIONS IN THE NORTH-EAST AS OBSERVED BY SOME CONCERNED OFFICERS

1.    We the concerned officers participating in the North East Operation Zaman Lafiya do resolve to write this letter for the following reasons:

a.     To save our country Nigeria.

b.     To stop the bloodshed of innocent officers, soldiers and civilians in the North East.

c.     To appeal to the president of the United State of America Mr. Barrack Obama, United Nation Secretary General Mr. Banki Moon and other world leaders to as quickly as important to intervene and urge President Goodluck Jonathan to do the needful in addressing the issue of insurgency in Nigeria especially in the North East.

2. As members of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is our responsibility to defend our country Nigeria which we are ever ready to do so as the call arises. But firstly, the civil authority has the first responsibility to equip us effectively to enable us to carry out such task. This is common practice all over the world. As professional officers and soldiers, we did not want to go public with details of our frustrations concerning this operation because doing so will boast the moral[e] of our enemy. But the persistent neglect of our plight made us to do otherwise.

3. It is well known fact that of recent, a commanding officer from this theater of operation wrote a letter to our President intimating him of a few out of numerous problems affecting us in this operation which we believe Mr. President will address. It appears Mr. President has chosen to ignore it because none of his relations are among us. In this 21st century, how can an accused [be] a judge of his own case? That letter clearly exposed the rot within the military authorities concerning this operation. This is because, the Army authority that was accused of poor administration in that letter, set up a kangaroo investigation that harass[ed], intimidate[d], and forced the officer to deny the authorship of the letter.

4. We authoritatively learned that, the Army authority succeeded in forcing the officer to deny the letter through the Provost Marshal (Army) who happen[ed] to be of the same tribe with the officer concern[ed]. For President Goodluck Jonathan to ignore such kind of allegation made us to believe the rumor going round that he has a hand or knowledge in the so-called Boko Haram. We are also aware of how the funds meant for these operations are being looted through the office of the Chief of Training and Operations, Major General J.A.H. Ewansiha. Despite our strong [belief] in democracy, we condemn a democratic government that condones corruption, especially in its military. The President is reported to always turn a blind eye to issues of corruption. For instance, the ADC to Mr.President is presently one of the richest officers in the army. He owns properties in choice places all over the country and even abroad. We are going to make public details of his wealth and assets at the appropriate time.

5. We are appealing to all well meaning Nigerians and leaders of International Community to please speak out with loud voice in [order] to make President Jonathan to constitute an independent high-powered committee to investigate the content of that letter written to him by the commanding officer. Should this request be ignored, the resultant consequence could only be imagined.

6. We stand bold to state that we are speaking the minds of all the officers and soldiers in Operation Zaman Lafiya.

Concerned Officers and Soldiers of Operation Zaman Lafiya

Propaganda value = immense

Victim/Target = PDP/GEJ

Benefactor = APC/GMP

Theory = now, that is the obvious part, there is no low the Aggrieved Pdp-rejects Congress won't stoop to in their mad power grab not knowing they have failed before they started.

Next time you bunch of pathological lying ar$eholes engineer a move on this chessboard, make sure you're not following a script whose endgame we can deduce before you even start it.

My take......

When APC want to spew lies, there's always an aggrieved unknown soldier or faceless eye witness to quote like seriously? How difficult is that to arrange?

Aaaaw C'mon!!!! Did you really think we can't read in between the lines?

Also, I'm really tired of this "we're inadequately equipped rubbish" as an infantry soldier, the only things the military is mandated to provide you are your combat fatigues for battlefield identification and your assault rifle, everything else na jara quote me anytime, anyday!! These you're provided with but under GEJ's administration, 5th columnists officers go around spreading propaganda in the ranks and file of their units that the government owes them iron man suits and green lantern corps membership rings and that that's the norm in mars and that accounts for their inability to do their jobs undecided .......with due respect to our gallant officers whom I applaud, saboteurs like this and the sahara reporters make me loose my respect for the Nigerian military, this is a volunteer and not a conscript army and once you sign up, apart from your training, salaries, allowances, retirement/disability benefits, gratuities, pensions and your primary weapons, the government doesn't owe you squat!!

Now riddle me this You are not being provided with adequate equipment yet your enemy attacks and raids your armoury from time to time for these equipment you purportedly are not being equipped with and successfully fights you with it? Are the Cameroonian or Chadian armies better equipped than you are now? Did you join the army expecting to be cuddled? Are you a fair weather soldier? If you don't like the conditions of your service, resign or better yet, be a soldier and take one for the team, stop being a faceless propaganda vomiting recently activated enemy sleeper cell drone or agent! Step forward and claim authorship of this gob so we can do the needed from both sides....the ones who deem you a hero will empathise, the ones who like me deem you a coward and 5th columnist will grill you until you fess up your divided loyalties and how much you've been paid!!

It must be your idea of a master stroke.....writing behind the smokescreen of a so-called "concerned officers" which for all i care might be a pseudonym for Shekau club or pro-boko dudes undecided

Saharareporters = pitiable and classless excuse for journalism.

Mtcheeeeeeew undecided

Let me ask as quickly as possible, is good communication skills not part of the criteria for becoming a president in Nigeria?

I am asking because the last time I saw Buhari speaking on TV; his words, sentences and accents were incoherent to me. Do we need an interpreter after the 2015 General election (that's if he wins) to interprete to the non- hausas?

I don't even see him as a man who could take decisions on his own. I used to see GEJ as too slow in making decision but I think he's better than GMB.

Time is ticking away on this army issue. The soldiers in the battle field are not ready to hide their frustration anymore.
Logistics on the battle fronts are so poor that reinforcements/back up is almost non available.
Soldiers are commanded to do battle with AK47 with its magazine bound together with insulation tape.
Boko haram fighters comes to battle with latest rifles.
TO MOVE TROOPS AROUND WITH HILUX ON THE BATTLEFIELD IS TO EXPOSED THEM TO DANGER .
ARMOURED VEHICLES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PERSONNEL MOVEMENTS.
WOUNDED SOLDIERS DON'T GET MEDICAL CARE IN TIME.
FAMILY OF DEAD SOLDIER DON'T GET FAIR TREATMENT IN THE BARRACKS.
too many things are not in shape for the men on the battlefield.
We that have relations among them know what they are facing.

APC is a party of propaganda so we all know where these demeaning reports are coming from. It all about 2015 and the fact remains that no matter their propaganda and mudslinging, BUHARI WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT... NOT NOW, NOT EVER.

GEJ is not interested. You guys have not said anything about elections or how you can help GEJ to another wasteful 4 years.

It is a pity

Because he doesn't have a relative there? Lmao this guy is a sure member of Boko haram, continue writing your love letter

If you had a relative among the fighing men or had a relative slain by boko haram, you won't talk like this. We make so many ignorant comments just because we are not directly concerned.

YoursGEJ:
Later he will come and tell us say those that are accusing him of sponsoring boko haram are mad.

What does his body language towards the insurgency tell us? When was the last time he condemned a boko haram attack? He was commiserating with France on the terrorist attack that killed 17 people and didn't say anything when 2,000 Nigerians were slaughtered in Baga. Why are helicopters dropping off supplies to the insurgents? No aircraft should be in Nigerian airspace without the knowledge and approval of FAAN and thus the FG. And Reno Omonkey falsely tried to link SLS to the insurgents. In Owoye Azazi's own words, a few days before his "accident"; Buhari is boko haram and boko haram is Buhari.

Yet some people who escaped from the psychiatric ward of Yaba hospital like me will come and blame Jonathan.

As for all of you in support of GEJ, I will keep praying that your lives will be run exactly how GEJ is running this country. Amen. You are welcome for the prayer don't menshun

And in return, I will continue my naked fasting and prayers that the DEVIL will continue sabotaging and destroying all the good things and good plans GOD has earmarked for your life plus endless amount of frustration everywhere just like Buhari and the northern oligarchs are doing to Jonathans administration.....AMEN!!!!! you can thank me later.
