https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBMu99Y9R1I Nigerian Soldiers talk to CNN on Boko Haram fight Some Nigerian soldiers have spoken to CNN and they claimed that they are being outgunned by Boko Haram and that they had to buy their combat kit themselves, pay their medical bills themselves and that the morale of the troops is currently very low. |

ControlX:Hello, did you say achievements? He did achieved but not as you claimed. Lets demand from our leaders what belongs to us as a country. We paid taxes and things should be made to work the way they are. Array we aware that President Jonathan has a lion share in the PHCN south south region with several people contributing 750naira to the FG monthly with or without power supply. A good achievement in the agricultural sector but areas of improvement are still numerous where things can actually be at the rightful place. |

hyfr:Why should I take a trip to Lag? Orji Uzor Kalu sat on billions given to him to develop Abia State. He did nothing. Even the present governor did nothing. What I am pointing out is that people should not get carried away thinking more money in the system will automatically make things better. One thing I have learnt recently is that money does not satisfy and the pit of corruption is endless. So let us shun the division and kick what is truly destroying Nigeria. Corruption. Not religion or tribe. |

Wow "An Open Letter to Your Commander In Chief"This should not sit well with any sane Citizen. Irrespective of any political affiliation. Every one including military personnels should call for order and respect within the military. Politics should not be acceptable within any respected military The refusal of weapons from certain hands , by the powers that be is more than meets the eyes. The accusation that the administration are not adequately arming our soldiers and on the other hand accusation that the USA refuse to sell weapons to the administration to arm our boys involving the fight wth Boko haram. |

sureguy02:Authorship = faceless Reportage = suspect Propaganda value = immense Victim/Target = PDP/GEJ Benefactor = APC/GMP Theory = now, that is the obvious part, there is no low the Aggrieved Pdp-rejects Congress won't stoop to in their mad power grab not knowing they have failed before they started. Next time you bunch of pathological lying ar$eholes engineer a move on this chessboard, make sure you're not following a script whose endgame we can deduce before you even start it. My take...... When APC want to spew lies, there's always an aggrieved unknown soldier or faceless eye witness to quote like seriously? How difficult is that to arrange?Aaaaw C'mon!!!! Did you really think we can't read in between the lines? Also, I'm really tired of this "we're inadequately equipped rubbish" as an infantry soldier, the only things the military is mandated to provide you are your combat fatigues for battlefield identification and your assault rifle, everything else na jara quote me anytime, anyday!! These you're provided with but under GEJ's administration, 5th columnists officers go around spreading propaganda in the ranks and file of their units that the government owes them iron man suits and green lantern corps membership rings and that that's the norm in mars and that accounts for their inability to do their jobs .......with due respect to our gallant officers whom I applaud, saboteurs like this and the sahara reporters make me loose my respect for the Nigerian military, this is a volunteer and not a conscript army and once you sign up, apart from your training, salaries, allowances, retirement/disability benefits, gratuities, pensions and your primary weapons, the government doesn't owe you squat!! Now riddle me this You are not being provided with adequate equipment yet your enemy attacks and raids your armoury from time to time for these equipment you purportedly are not being equipped with and successfully fights you with it? Are the Cameroonian or Chadian armies better equipped than you are now? ![]() Did you join the army expecting to be cuddled? Are you a fair weather soldier? If you don't like the conditions of your service, resign or better yet, be a soldier and take one for the team, stop being a faceless propaganda vomiting recently activated enemy sleeper cell drone or agent! Step forward and claim authorship of this gob so we can do the needed from both sides....the ones who deem you a hero will empathise, the ones who like me deem you a coward and 5th columnist will grill you until you fess up your divided loyalties and how much you've been paid!!It must be your idea of a master stroke.....writing behind the smokescreen of a so-called "concerned officers" which for all i care might be a pseudonym for Shekau club or pro-boko dudes ![]() Saharareporters = pitiable and classless excuse for journalism. Mtcheeeeeeew ![]() Lubbish!!!! Concerned Officers my fat stinking ar$e ![]() |

Let me ask as quickly as possible, is good communication skills not part of the criteria for becoming a president in Nigeria? I am asking because the last time I saw Buhari speaking on TV; his words, sentences and accents were incoherent to me. Do we need an interpreter after the 2015 General election (that's if he wins) to interprete to the non- hausas? I don't even see him as a man who could take decisions on his own. I used to see GEJ as too slow in making decision but I think he's better than GMB. 73 years no be daays ooo. It means 73 xmas. |

Time is ticking away on this army issue. The soldiers in the battle field are not ready to hide their frustration anymore. Logistics on the battle fronts are so poor that reinforcements/back up is almost non available. Soldiers are commanded to do battle with AK47 with its magazine bound together with insulation tape. Boko haram fighters comes to battle with latest rifles. TO MOVE TROOPS AROUND WITH HILUX ON THE BATTLEFIELD IS TO EXPOSED THEM TO DANGER . ARMOURED VEHICLES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PERSONNEL MOVEMENTS. WOUNDED SOLDIERS DON'T GET MEDICAL CARE IN TIME. FAMILY OF DEAD SOLDIER DON'T GET FAIR TREATMENT IN THE BARRACKS. too many things are not in shape for the men on the battlefield. We that have relations among them know what they are facing. |
