This country will never grow regardless of who rules until we do away with regional and religion sentimentality and sorry to say, this mentality is common with our eastern brothers.

For the easterners ( please if you must argue against this believe of my do it objectively, you abuse me, I will abuse you back ), they will only back anyone who is perceived to be their "brother". Yet the northerners get accused of being born to rule whereas the same is seen in the easterners.

Only the westerner seems to vote for people they perceived to be the best regardless of their tribe. It is not uncommon to see the westerners vote against a westerner just because they feel it is not the best for the nation ( OBJ's second term comes to mind ).

A lot of these so called celebrities supporting Jonathan are doing so for the money as well as the privilege to associate with the president.

People differ, some stand firmly on their principles & beliefs, while some are weak willed and are willing to sell themselves in exchange for money, fame or recognition.

This is hardly relevant, but I notice a clear support along ETHNIC LINES. Check it again and you'll observe. Sad shame.

I would want to remind Nigerians not to be carried away with the election excitement, but to hold politicans accountable to their promises when they are elected!

First my support goes to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for what he has been doing in his almost concluded tenure, two sectors I would want to highlight so Nigerians can help bring it to completion.

1.10,000 UNIT HOUSING SCHEME:
This project started under NMRC plattform where President GEJ promised to provide Nigerians with affordable houses since Febuary 2013.
Now is Febuary 2015 and we haven't seen anything infrastructure in progress as regard NMRC scheme, over 66,000 applications was received by NMRC for 10,000 unit houses. I wonder how FG can provide all of the applicants with houses when after 2years there is no sign of any foundation been dug in any state as regard thois project.

I want Nigerians to ask NMRC why are they sabotagging the effort of this govt to provide Nigerians with affordable houses, knowing that the said money has been approved and paid to NMRC from worldbank.

If after 2years no sign of building anywhere how then can 10,000 unit of houses be built in next 4yrs, is this a political scam once again?

2. PTDF WELDERS TRAINING:
Under the yar' adua govt, the policy to train Nigerian welders to help take over the oil and gas as well as other industrial sectors of the econmy came up. And the first set of trainees started the program 2010, it took them 2years to complete a 9month course! After which they were left without any placement where the accuired skill will be utilized!

Now, the second trend has been on training since feburary 2012 and has not been able to complete the programme up till now febuary 2015, what a shame it is that every time we hear of the billlions spent on training nigerians for pipe and under water welding, its complete fradulent and a way to sabottage the govt from achieving its aim.

The present trend of welder trainee are still at home for 3years now just to complete a 9months course. I wonder why Nigerians don't ask questions that affect us. Most of these trainees gave up all they had to be skilled for govt to use them improve our industrial sector but here they are stranded don't even know their future anymore.

Why do we get frustrated everytime we want development in our nation, I want Nigerians to ask PTDF/ NIW why welding trainees are still at home and have no placement for internship after the programe!
