Every well meaning Niger Deltans and Nigerians in general should not allow themselves to be intimidated by the utterances of some ex-militants who said there will be war in President was not re-elected come february 14 because those guys are only trying to protect their contracts. In a democracy, nobody should intimidate you to vote against your wish. If Nigerians wants GEJ to continue as president beyond 2015, then they will vote him in but if they don't need him any longer its their choice/decision to make and nobody can influence that. Before you think of paying attenton to them (ex militants), ask yourself what you have gained after the so called amnesty. They (ex militants) said they were fighting the FG because the govt refused to develop the region. But has anything changed in the region for the ordinary people they (ex militants) claimed to be fighting for? NO! The only change we saw was that all the ex militants became big shots in town, cruising luxury cars, living in mansions and some acquiring private jets. What about the fisherman whom his means for survival was destroyed during the era of militancy in the region? He or she was left with nothing. This is to tell you all that these overfed ex militants were fighting to be recognized by the FG and they succeeded by using Niger Deltans as a means. Today they are worth bilions of naira after receiving some juicy contracts from the FG while the people they claimed to be fighting for are dying in poverty. Now, they (ex militants) have started again with similar sentiments just to protect their monthly/yearly in flow of bilions of naira. How many of them were in support of GEJ becoming a VP and now the president in the first place? But today they (ex militants) threating Nigerians of war if GEJ wasn't re-elected because of the contracts he gave them and they even refered to Nigerians as their slaves (Asari said so). As for my igbo brothers and sisters who are supporting the war threat by those ijaw militants, i pity you all because you people are the ones to suffer heavy casualties when the war starts. Have you forgotten so soon what happened during Biafran war? Look the ijaw man you think loves you, is only using you to get what he wants. Vote according to your conscience. |

OP may you be blessed. Asari is building a world class university in Benin Republic and Tompolo afforded a N2Billion private jet for himself. Niger Deltans, common East-West Road is yet to be done. 'I will do President' only favours militants not commoners like you or me. I can assure you that GEJ will lose the elections and cannot return to Bayelsa. Mark my words. Buhari for President. |

Op Read below to see why your post is worthless If quota system is applied in admission into schools and federal jobs/appointments to give unqualified Northerners a say, We must apply quota system in ensuring that ethnic groups of few thousands are allowed to RULE Nigeria What is good for A is also good for B Say No To Internal colonialism Say No To Political Slavery Say No To Born To Rule Hypocrisy must not be allowed to thrive ![]() |

I'm 100% sure that the Niger delta militants won't start a war, even during the days of the struggle bloodshed was avoided , that's why there were negotiations. I'm also 100% sure that there'll be a reaction from the south and east if the barbarians up north start killing civillans. Now the problem is not from the south or east , the problem is from the north because I'm also 100% sure they'll kill civilians after this election whether Buhari wins or loses, so start parking fellow southerners if you live up north. |

SeverusSnape:I meant to say they should vote whoever to chose to vote. Am not a Pro Buhari or Pro GEJ, that means as for me non of them will have my vote. I cant go and cue up under the sun for hours just to vote for anyone. They don't deserve it. |

BlackTechnology:My can be worthless to you but i wanna ask you 3 questions 1) Can you mention just one thing that the ordinary/common Niger Deltans has benefited from the post amnesty promises? 2) Have you ever visited any of those overfed ex militants to see how they live in estravagant luxury with good security details while those they claimed to be defending are living in abject poverty? 3) If GEJ loss the election, will u honestly pick up weapon to destroy the country (yourself just like boko haram who are already destroyed forever)? I need honest answers |
