Because we grew up in different environment and background therefore, we can not can have the same atitude, believe and know the same food.

when I got married for instance, I have to teach my wife how cook certain food and soup that I know and she did not know about.

1. I taught her how to cook Ugu and water leave togehter with smoke fish eaten with pounded yam, eba or semovita

2. how to make pounded yam because I don't like eating rice much. once i eat twice a week, i have switch to something swalowable.

3. how to make Semovita and pupuru (if u are from ondo state u will know pupuru).

That ugu and waterleaf is very important for me cos i like vegetables much and I can do without eating pouned yam not poundo yam ooo, I mean original ponded yam.

Financially, I had to teach her how to manage finances cos she is the type that spend money especially on things that she does not need but she like.

Things I learn from her:

how to cooked different types of food apart from those one I listed above e.g beans cake, Moimoi, Rice(jolof, fried, etc)

how to make PAP (Ogi, koko) from the scratch. that from corn to processing and transformation to the main food.

She made be know that baby can survive only on breast milk without buying baby food. All my kids were breast feeded, i did not buy a single baby food throughout.

And other things i can not remember...Add your own too.
