Why the fuss about the debates? After all GEJ also refused to participate in the debate organized by neutral body in 2011. Though I would have loved GMB to participate but with d desperation of PDP they can go to any length and induce any organization to tarnish GMB image..Besides what are d outcome of GEJ'S 2011 NEDG debate? Corruption? Insecurity?

There is no amount of reason(s) that will be given for his non-appearance than his style of trying to dodge questions like

1.) How will he fight the Boko Haram, which he has no ideal. He has been saying "I will fight Boko Haram"...How? No idea

2.) How will he stabilised the price of oil, which he knows he can't answer any economy question. "I will stabilize oil price"...How? No idea

3.) About his certificate, which he has no solution to it? Neither did he have it .Ashamed of being regarded as incorruptible, but yet, fake certificate saga.

4.) How will he create jobs for the masses? "I will create job"...How? No idea

5.) Being a religious fundamentalist. Which will be difficult to defend.

6.) His pasted atrocities against the Yoruba leaders (so many to mentioned) and some other notable Nigerians in the name of fighting corruptions, which no answer to justify his actions.

APC know he cannot answer most question on how is going to govern Nigeria beyond, "I WILL ....” but how? He has no idea. APC is trying to use Osinbanjo clean his (Buhari's) image and weakness. What a shame to APC and their supporters.

Well, my family and I made up our mind to vote GMB long time ago, since he said corruption is not stealing. And remember there is no light, so i wonder how many people will be able to power generator for debate.

I mean, we've been hearing so many promises from former aspirants, haven't we? In as much as a debate is not a sure bet for good leadership, it goes a long in strengthening our confidence in our preferred candidates. We don't want things to remain the way they are, we want change, change from past misdeeds!

Only a fanatical follower will not see reasons to question APC on this one, a logical follower of APC should know when to ask questions.

Buhari is simply showing that he has indeed lost touch with the 21st century, for how will you explain a man who thinks he will win election in this day and age by just making bogus promises to the electorate. The era of politicians making bogus promises is long gone because the electorate demand to know how the promises are to be actualized. The debates are the only viable forum for the electorate to confirm that politicians are not really talking without thinking. Nothing is further from the truth, than the fact that Buhari is indeed intellectually lazy, and such people are better off rearing their cows. GEJ till 2019.

Buhari was reading from a script yesterday. I saw the town hall meeting and I'm sure his supporters were obviously disappointed when they saw him reading from a script.

Talking about shielding him from public scrutiny, they are trying but they can cover the truth. The real truth about his forged statement of result will soon be exposed by the courts. NIGERIANS will then know those who really and sincerely want to move this country forward.

I don't need a debate to pitch my tent with any candidate. I've listened to both of them and know what the each represent.

Jona-daft represents cluelessness, corruption, Ineptitude and has shown a strong inclination to developing poverty in the Country.

Buhari on the other hand represents the change Nigeria needs. He has shown he understands Nigeria' problems and has what it takes to tackle them.
