no advanced site does it

A punchline is the joke of a bar or a bold statement ..
it can just be a very witty line or puns, similes, mets etc

judging metaphors and word plays differently doesn't make sense
that's why people force plays just to win the wordplay crit..and wordies are supposed to come naturally..
Punchlines should be judged as a whole ..
how can one judge simile and still go judge punchline when a simile is a punchline itself ...

its not every time one has a smashing simile ..but if he has a wordplay, he should bring it to the brawl without having the fear of losing the simile crit ....

in a stage brawl .. do audience start highlighting who had puns or not ..answer is no ... we just say the rapper with the better punchlines won

this is rap, not rocket science ..

and i suggest mets, similes and wordplays shouldn't be judged separately but as one cos they all make up punchlines ..

if you don't have a single wordplay in your verse then it shouldn't matter as long as you have a jaw breaking simile ...
that's the way we should do it
