I used to believe love was more important than money. I'm one of those ladies who believe in starting from the scratch with someone who has potentials and building an empire together. I always thought those rich guys are arrogant and would cheat on you and flaunt it in ur face. Infact seeing a guy as rich was more than enough turn-off for me. Besides I thought what can they get me that I can't get for myself by God's grace. I also had the mindset that those rich guys had that one girl who stood by them when they had nothing, and would most definitely choose them over you when they eventually want to settle down.

By as I grew older, I realised that even those "broke guys with potentials" would still lie and cheat on you. Most of them are always insecure because they believe that because u're a very pretty lady, u'd most likely leave them when some richer guy comes along.

With all that, I drew my conclusions.

I think what most people confuse here is Lust. The woman that you think loves you when you have the money, doesn't love you without the money. Definitely she loves your money. You are A, and Money is B. Both makes AB. She loves A because of B. Take away B from A she flees. Now, that is Lust.

But Love works over all, Over money, Over lust. Whether, B stays or B leaves, Love would always remain.
There are so many rich lovers that crave for love today, they attend counsellors, seminar, love program, just to develop the love, but it can't be bought.

Nevertheless, Money is needed to boost the relationship, but it should never be the basis.

PS: Guys, a girls that loves you when you broke truly loves you, and the one that love you when you are made, check her...

A lot of them lied they're in love but in real sense they're there for the money.
She wouldn't have file a divorce if she knew nothing will come out, I mean the settlement, I learnt she took almost half of what he had, tell me, isn't it obvious that woman is in that relationship because of money, she saw the opportunity and grabbed it, isn't she super rich now, with settlement from the divorce?

For me i do believe in love, love make all seem perfect, love births happiness, joy and relatively success.
Ask most successful people, they were loved by devoted women, no wonder they say: behind every successful man there's a woman. Money will surely come, that's for sure, except of course you fall in love with a lazy man/woman

Wow. The level of moral decadence in Nigeria today leaves more to be desired. One need not look further to understand why relationship/marriages hits the rocks more often than during our parents era. In the past, our parents paid no attention to how much their other half had but more attention in making their marriage work. In a society, where majority of their women attach more importance to wealth than love these will end up making their men barely respecting them. Little wonder why cheating has become more prevalent. Love has become conditional, no more unconditional, too many clauses attached to love. Poor love! I agree money is important in every relationship/marriage but placing it above love bears all the hallmark with what is wrong in the country today. I can tell you no woman will be comfortable having all the riches in the world if her hubby doesn't care nor show her affection and cheats around. No man will equally be good if the woman she loves flirts about town regardless how rich and affluent he is. Yes love is more important than money, money is important but no match for love. Except, ofcourse to anyone who hasn't experience love.
