I leant he was paid a very huge some of money then, what he did with it is what I can't say. Did you expect them to place him on a life time salary right from then because he put white and green together side by side? Try to get the real reasons behind his travails.

Did he do it for free

why don't we study all these our history in school, I am a graduate but don't know a dime apart from what I read in newspapers

Guy calm down, he only put green and white together. Those guys you mentioned worked hard and continued working hard for their fame, relevance and money. They didn't just sit down and wait for government to give them money. He was paid 100 pounds then (1959). Huge money.

U making it look like adding green and white is the motive behind the nigerian flag?

Am not saying he wasn't rewarded for his feat I said he is an hero who created nigerian flag and needs government supports because he adding green and white together Is an innovation? Is this the way they treated other countries flag initiators? I get u all but he is an hero and he needs been treated as one fatai rolling dollar only hit was 'won kere si number wa' and even at old age he ws still given a car and paid salaries and he was used as public figures inlagos state by fashola do u mean to say na only fatai rolling dollar dey sing since his days and still alive?
