I don't understand why some mumus would be tribalising D'Banj's failure. How can someone say that it is only Igbos that condemn him? Artists like Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage are Yorubas and I know several Igbos who love them like mad. What has tribe got to do with anything here? I am yoruba and strongly believe Don Jazzy exudes more "yorubaness" than D'banj.

After the split, it was easier for D'banj to soar higher (because he was the main brand of mohits) if he was truly talented; the reverse has been the case. Don Jazzy has been able to re-experiment with some new team members with very impressive results. This should be the basis of assessing the duo and not ethnic bigotry!

I think the major mistake that Dbanj did was to leave out personalities that were very prominent in his 10 year career.For analysis sake if i was Dbanj,i would have done everything possible to bring together Wande Cole,Don jazzy,ikechukwu etc even if it means paying them some honorarium.If he had done that,a lot of people would have come around even if to confirm if the reunion is real etc.For me personally,my first and major consideration remains how does an action affect my bottom line and not ego,people's perception etc.

Your last statement makes a whole lotta sense meen...watching d part 2 of Olisa's d truth interview with dbanj I could see lots of lies being told yet ppl were fooled into believing him....catching a liar isnt about what he says but how he says it dat is the body language. . DBanj and Don Jazzy did well together. There's no point for U to hate of Don Jazzy either. DBanj is talented but he did better under Don Jazzy. We were hoping that DBanj would have gone far based on his latest move that is not the case.

Before leaving a group, you have to do a proper homework that caters for the future as a standalone. Musically, he has not done greatly since he left Mohit-He declined but he is human and obviously allowed the hype to get into his head that he could do it alone. If Dbanj understood the American culture and business scenario- he would not have tested that water with both legs.

On to the next step, Big Fish should employ the expertise of experienced and professional business management personnel in his field - they know how to turn this around for him.

Even with the unique Baritone voice, Don Jazzy can not survive on his own- he is strategic and that's paying off.

For a man, Dbanj has done greatly for his nation, family, community and Africa as a whole - derogatory articles by hungry writers purported at mocking him is deemed classless and unnecessary - Dbanj will forever be relevant and influential - He is actually more influential than Don Jazzy as we speak.

Hope he gets the right business help he needs.
