1. He from the onset the IBB regime took his documents. And his affidavit refereed to the one with Military Board.
Please, which is with Military Board? The only thing on his file is a recommendation from his school principal that he would pass English and maths and a total of five subjects.

egift:
2. He did not request for University of Cambridge (which was in place of WAEC at that time) to re-issue one. And don't forget, it is not a crime nor does it invalidate his qualification.
Let him do so. The time is now. Have you heard of "clear your name" before.

Citizens are asking Alhaji Buhari, clear your name.

More discerning people are saying, Mr. Buhari, since you promise to tackle corruption, unemployment, stabilise global oil price (big big matters), pls tackle this simple rumour dat u no complete secondary school.

And what are we getting.

Pls, that Cambridge response prooves that Alhaji Buhari can clear this matter himself in few minutes if he could just ask waec or cambridge.

But, alas, if it is not there, Oga mi, it it not there

And you believe that the only content in the file of a retired Major General in the Army is a single letter? Bros, somebody cleared the content in that File. QED.

Buhari will not play into the hands of Jonathan's distractions and desperation. Buhari is qualified and equal to the task ahead. Tell Jonathan to burn the File or shift the election if he likes, Otueke is his destination.

Unfortunate, but that is the fact.

Ofcourse there are many other documents like his promotions, postings and his short courses, etc. But waec -no, no.

Just a question for you?

Why the obsession with 'General'?. The military establishment is no different in cadre and calibre than the civil service and the academia.

Do you also quiver hearing "Permanent Secretary" or "Professor"?? huh

Those are same with "General", ok.

Drop that military regime respect for korofo and khaki. Just my advice to you.

grin grin grin

All na wash.

If you know what it takes to publish an interview in a daily, you just laugh.

It is actually easier and cheaper to get Waec to re-issue it.

In fact, this matter has come to a stage where Alhaji Buhari's allies like Prof Vice Presidential candidate would personally volunteer to trek to waec and come out with a re-issue.

But, no certificate means only one thing -NO CERTIFICATE!

Alhaji Buhari is a certified school drop out.

No wonder:
1. No further education since leaving office despite all available time

2. No affiliation with anything educational while and after leaving office

3. No record of promotion of education (even nomadic education) or even his almajiri kinsmen

@Egift dear, rest it. Its long lost. You can't defend the indefensible.

anybody can forge statement of result and not certificate. If anybody present a certificate to any tertiary institution then they will go to the exambody to make sure it is not fake rather buhari is blocking everywhere so that nobody can cheak such. Buhari should allow the cambridge or waec to release the result for us to see.

My friend, if Buhari or his school can produce his school days pix, why has Buhari or his school be unable to produce his school certificate?
My friend, I tell you most solemnly, Buhari did not sit for WASC and he has never touched his school certificate with his hands. Note that Buhari was head of the Army records and it would have been very easy for him to get the certificate from there or complain that his certificates have been misplaced by the army. Buhari only made his affidavit on the assumption that his certificate was with the army board. Haba, a general making such an assumption? Please tell Buhari to tell Nigerians and the world the truth.

Not only that Sir, with due respect.

1.Alhaji Buhari got admitted into the Nigerian army without having waec, the minimum qualification

2. Alhaji Buhari needed English and maths at Waec to be a commissioned officer of Nigerian army, but he got commissioned anyway

Alhaji Buhari signifies everything sick about Nigeria as a nation -favouritism, double standard, preferential treatment, born-to-rule, secrecy in officialdom, coup plotting against democratically elected govt, corruption...

And mind you that:
1. Alhaji Buhari cannot change @73

egift don't waste your precious time on these people.
First, as at today, the constitution which is the supreme document for law in this country does not ask for the certificates of presidential candidates before such candidates can be considered eligible. Only mischief makers want us to believe otherwise.

Second, even if it did, the General has sworn an affidavit (giving reasons why he was not able to present the certificate - which again is not a requirement) in a competent court. So, except we are saying the court affidavit is not a tenable legal document or except they can prove that he lied, then there is really no case here.

Third, the General went further to produce his statement of result - which in my opinion is extremely unnecessary as he had already satisfied all the requirements.

Fourth, except people who say the statement of result provided by GMB is forged did not go to school thereby asking him to produce the original, they should have known that the onus of investigating the authenticity of such academic document lies on the the institution that request for it. Credible universities/polytechnics and other institutions will contact your previous schools and verify the documents you presented for any purpose. Only mischief makers or stupidly ignorant people will ask someone who is accused of presenting forged document to go back and look for original. If that person is truly fraudulent, he will simply go back to "oluwole" and get a cleaner, more original-looking certificate. What responsible institutions do is to collect the document presented by the "accused" and do the verification/authentication by themselves. I recall quite a number of students were expelled in my university (when they got to 300 level or so) for presenting fake o'level results. I also recall paying about N3000 to a government body for the authentication of my first degree when I filed an application to be a corporate member of government regulatory body. The investigation was done by them not me and the payment was just to cover their cost of investigation (which is still silly in my opinion but what can a man do about this).
It is extremely irresponsible to ask someone you suspect have presented a fake result to go and look for the genuine certificate.

I rest my case

my bro u want to tell me u doubt the pedigree of Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England.
What pedigree? Training in Buhari's time is not like what obtains now. In the first place, the concocted statement of result from Buhari's school with F9 in Maths could not have earned Buhari entry into the army, not even as an ordinary soldier, in present day Nigeria. Also, NDA training in Buhari's time was a military preparatory school lasting about 6 months, then another 6 months in Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England and one was commissioned an officer. Further more, WASC alone cannot earn an officer commission in present day military, one must have at least a Bsc/HND degree. What I'm trying to say is that, those days things were done in a hurry and haphazardly too because there was need to urgently fill the vacant appointments after the departure of the British military. Buhari was opportuned to have joined the Nigerian military in its infancy without requisite requirement.
