Jega To Begin Pre-retirement Leave In March by Nobody: 6:01pm On Feb 07, 2015
Just saw this, Jega's tenure ends in June 2015 and he is supposed to embark on pre retirement leave in march, the president is then supposed to appoint a temporary replacement

Not going to happen. You cannot change a referee in the middle of a match.

JEGA ooo...how Independent is INEC?
All security agencies (Army,Navy,Sss,Police and NSCDC) in-charge of protecting the ballot boxes from point of retrieval at CBN down to the Polling units... securing the youth corpers and ensuring law and order during the election day have written to JEGA that they are proceeding on a 6weeks special operation to flush out Boko Haram starting from February14 and so cannot be distracted by the elections...hence, they wont be available for now...

What else can Jega do than to postpone the elections?
INEC has clearly been arm-twited into postponing the elections.

Guess who controls the security agencies.....Goodluck Jonathan.

What does this mean? It means that once this trick works..it will be re-used by merely extending the so called "special operations" for another "6months".... and maybe " 6years"...remember JEGAs tenure ends in JULY...so what do we have? Two things:

1. A puppet INEC Chairman will be installed
2. A puppet interim president will be installed

What about elections?...long thing

Jega played a very wrong card by choosing to support the Northern oligarchy

to the detriment of a promising career

now he has to reap the fruits.

he has been disgraced, even his university may not want him back sad

he collaborated with northern emirs and sultans by releasing the PVC to them,

thats why the north have over 90% collection, while the south has only 65%.

he is clearly biased

The three top officials are JEGA and two Yorubas. Tell me how Tinubu will not have access to INEC Database?
