if this is true then i smell foul play already. Mimiko is the brother to the current Gov of Ondo state who is an active campaign strategist for Jonathan.... hmm this election go still hold so? |

ichidodo:Any time I see these font colors on nairaland it's always some gibberish, uncivilised, out of the norms of a sane societal statement that comes from it, and you never fail to keep up that record!!! Have you any idea what proper governance is about? I don't comment much here cos in the end what will be will be but you should strive to be reasonable in your comments please. |

maestroferddi:Jega has always been pro-PDP but I believe he understands the trouble with this 2015 elections. 90% of Nigerians want change and only a free and fair election will guarantee peace in Nigeria. With recent moves by Jonathan more people are joining the change bandwagon and his end will be disastrous like the housefly who followed corpse to the grave. 90% against 10% is not negotiable. |
| Re: Nazim Mimiko Nominated To Replace Jega From March 1, 2015 by Efomeh2020(m): 8:31am On Feb 10, 2015 |
That's if the pdp can come up with 2/3 votes from the national assembly to confirm the appointment. If Prof. Nazim has integrity he will not accept such appointment in such a time as this. |

profjustine458:Changing the inec chairman at such an unholy hour, under such shady circumstances, at a time when the whole world sees your motives and bias, at a time when it will definitely spark an unbelievable uproar and crisis both within and externally... if you do not think this is the height of cluelessness, then I'm afraid, you are as clueless as the man himself. If GEJ were a smart man, this move is something he should have tactically done a very long time ago when it wouldn't raise eyebrows... Acting like a roguish tout is not a sign of strength. Just the same way instead of tactically blackmailing and unseating the Speaker Tambuwal, he chose to use the police and teargas to forcibly impeach the speaker under dubious circumstances before the eyes of the world. Same thing was done in Rivers and Ekiti and the governor's forum. It is his inability to do things quietly and tactically but instead, waiting till the last minute to act like a gutter tout before everyone's eyes, that is exactly what solidifies his title as 'the clueless one' |

ichidodo:Make i quote u for the first time hehehehe, u knw, some apcians were saying they will be war if the inec chairman is replaced...i just laughed at their ballessness, if gej can ''change'' the election date-which is bizzare, without the war they have been threatening to bring, what will they do over ''little'' thing like changing the inec chairman? It is not like the new inec chairman is a foreigner. Menwhile, no one have the monopoly over violence, they should bring the war, we are ready, we are not cowards. This is 2015, not ''1967''...they is balance in nigeria now, we could identify our common enemies now, unlike in 1967-the one nigeria gimmicks. |

Flets:Northeast have collected theirs because they are WILLING to leave their business to collect it. Don't blame Jega for Southerners unwillingness to collect PVC. INEC has done her job by making the PVC available. This is evidenced by stacks of PVC you see at collection centre in the South. So whose fault is it that Southerners don't collect? Jega? Hmmmm. Just giving a dog a bad name to hang it |

mfm04622:All Nigerians are asking is let the right thing be done. Jega flew in as much as 15million PVCs on 4th Feb and insisted on election 10 days after. He should have given at least 4 weeks for collection before elections. At the end, if only 1 million was picked up, its not INEC fault anymore. The previous 48million has been available for pick ip for over 6months. Why give 15million registered voters only 9 days to pick up their PVCs. It's plain evil. |

mfm04622:Northeast collected their PVCs because it was available and that cant be said of the south. Besides INEC handed the PVCs to the emirs and sultans and recorded such as didtributed. All Nigerians are asking is let the right thing be done. Jega flew in as much as 15million PVCs on 4th Feb and insisted on election 10 days after. Mmadukaku:Cluelessness is being unaware, not knowing the implications of ones actions and behaviours. Cluelessness is not knowing how to use power for the good of the majority. Cluelessness is GEJ's actions bringing Nigeria to it's knees and doom. Cluelessness is one man chasing aku(money, glory, position) by sacrificing mmadu (human beings, Nigerians) through his ignorance, the reverse of your name Mmadukaku. Ask God to forgive your first prayer son! |

Umunede:Let's be mindful of statements we make on social platforms like this. So where will the northern indigenous Christians go? U were wrong to think it's muslims against Christians / Southerners. Did you think the northern Christians will vote for Buhari? I'm sure you've never travelled through the north so you definitely don't have an inkling of the persecution these Christians have faced over the year. It is written "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE" . God is our deliverer and helper. Peace... |

When Jonatgan finally leaves he will go down in history as the worst leader ever to exist in the world. From masterminding the bombing of his own country in 2010 to assassination of his own brother(Azazi) to attempted assassination of his political opponent(Buhari) to encouraging corruption and even giving stealing a passmark to using the military to rig elections etc. The amount of money looted in his 6years may also be the highest by any government in history of the world. |
