A. was/have B. were/has C. was/has D. were/have

The answer is actually C i.e was/has

One of the thieves who was arrested has been bailed.

The subject here is "one of", and it is a subject to the verb "was" (since "one of" is singular). "Has", then, definitely follows.

1)Heat is a form of energy n d SI unit for energy is joule na,y r all ur answers in kwh?It is d unit PHCN uses.To me d solution is this

w=pt = 95/100[40 * (1000*60*60)]=1.368*10^8J

2)PHCN total power consumed weda it was converted or not.So we use d entire 100%
cost=(40/1000)* 1000 *6=#2.4

3)Dis is d simplest of all

I'm confused, but in invisible teacher, it was stated that who will refer to the noun or pronoun that comes before it and that noun or pronoun must become subject

example they used is this
One of the girls who________impregnated_________died (a) was/have (b) were /have (c) was/has (d) were /has

Option d was choosen

1)Heat is a form of energy n d SI unit for energy is joule na,y r all ur answers in kwh?It is d unit PHCN uses.

True that the unit of heat is Joules. But if you were very conversant with the topics: Energy and Power; and Cost of Electrical Energy, you would notice that "Joule is too small as a unit for dealing with the energy demands of households and commercial ventures", so PHCN doesn't use Joule. They use a large unit instead, i.e the Kilowatt-hour (KWh)

To me d solution is this

w=pt = 95/100[40 * (1000*60*60)]=1.368*10^8J

Your calculation is based on the SI unit Joule. Mine is KWh. If I converted mine to Joule I would get the same answer as the above.

2)PHCN total power consumed weda it was converted or not.So we use d entire 100%
cost=(40/1000)* 1000 *6=#2.4

Error. You should use 95% which caused your no.3 error.

3)Dis is d simplest of all
fraction =60k/240k=1/4

The answer is B not C........the subject "thieves" is plural nd not singular, so "were" is right.....concerning "has", ofcuz bailed is a past tense....

the "Thieves" arrested were not one, how will u use "was" after the subject
