my guy, stop this. that tape is fake. it is made in toronto. the matter is already in court, let's wait for the outcome. it will be sweet.

[b] He has sued for defamation but his lawyers should have told him that 'truth or justification' is a foremost defence to defamation. Premium times went to a great length to confirm the voices on the recording even hiring a firm to do forensic voice analysis before they published. All they have to do is show in court that the tape is real and from all their tests the voice is Obanikoro's voice and that's all.

Also the defence of 'fair comment' avails them. It is absolutely in public interest for such a recording to be made public because it involves elections which is a public exercise. Also this defence will avail them because Obanikoro will find it hard to prove that they made the publication in malice. From the steps they took to verify the recording alongside the affidavit of the soldier that made the recording, malice can never be proved.

This man will just pay the lawyers money for nothing cuz I can't see how he will win the case. They have solid defences in law.[/b]

They go to court and prove the authencity of the tape by the way the tape implicated both PDP and APC it simply showed that the best rigger won the election
