Christiane Amanpour: What is your reaction to the 6 weeks election postponement by INEC?

Buhari: I am disappointed at INEC as they have promised to conduct the election last year on 14th of this month but now they have been forced to postpone the election by the present administration, by saying that they cannot guarantee the safety of their workers.

Christiane Amanpour: Why can’t Nigeria military fight Boko Haram?

Buhari: Nigeria military cannot stand Boko Haram because they are under trained and under equipped.

Christiane Amanpour: Former Nigeria president Olusegun Obasanjo endorses you today, how do you react to that?

Buhari: It’s a big thing for our campaign. It will bring more supporters and confidence to us. Gen. OBJ is a highly respected man in the World. No serious issue can be discussed without seeking his opinion.

Christiane Amanpour: According to the international media, you are a former dictator and Jonathan is a failed president. How is the new Buhari different from the old one as your previous administration is said to be very bad.

Buhari: That was during Military administration under my leadership, but this is now democracy and a new age. The old rules don’t apply anymore.

Christiane Amanpour: How can you combat Boko Haram in Nigeria.

Buhari: We know how Boko Haram started. I will make sure equipment and training are properly utilize to combat them.
