bThere are already couple built-in features to Android you can use. The simplest one is the bluetooth file transfer, you can use this to transfer any files between two Android devices. The problem is that bluetooth is very slow and it’s going to take you hours to transfer any files larger than 20MB. Also, you can setup an FTP server on one of your Android devices and download using FTP on the other Android device but this is a bit more tricky to setup and not recommended for the average user. There's also the very popular WiFi file transfer using either Flash share,Xender, Any share (lenovo mobile) and it take less than minutes to receive a file of large size. It took me like 3-5mins to receive FIFA 15's obb file of 1.25gig. There are lots of ways that I haven't mentioned that ate only exclusive to different mobile phones like Airdrop for iPhone.
