femliany:You my friend are truly an illiterate , to be uneducated formally is not a bad thing as it doesn't mean one can not read and write. However the true definition of literacy is the ability to read, rigjt but most importantly comprehend (understand) Patience Jonathan is an illiterate my grand mother was not formally educated past primary level 6 but reads writes and understands, can you comprehend that ! |

Olamitisoji:Let me help you. I will also paste synonyms of the word corruption here. Please let me know if any word there looks familiar ok? I have highlighted some words from your quote for you. corruption kəˈrʌpʃ(ə)n/ noun noun: corruption; plural noun: corruptions 1. dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery. "the journalist who wants to expose corruption in high places" synonyms: dishonesty, dishonest dealings, unscrupulousness, deceit, deception, duplicity, double-dealing, fraud, fraudulence, misconduct, lawbreaking, crime, criminality, delinquency, wrongdoing, villainy; From my post you can see that corruption is a crime and so is stealing. Stealing is also a dishonest dealing, it is a misconduct and fraudulent. Like i said i wonder if you got to learn anything in school |

ccaramel:Brilliant explanation darl. However, "stealing= corruption" totally wrong even corruption=stealing is wrong too. Corruption is dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery Stealing is taking another person's property without permission or legal right and without intending to return it They are both distinct but might work hand in hand, like stealing through a corrupt means. E.G Manipulating the law in other to acquire a property not yours. Nevertheless, you could say stealing is part of corruption . |

Hoba007:Why starting with blackmail ? So i wont have to say my mind when you say yours right? Govt. pay people like me? you are funny. That is the same problem we have in this country, people derail from the core of the issue and attack persons? If i am paid by Govt to be on social media for them, then explain why i shouldnt believe the opposition paid you to be here for them too? In any case, GEJ has come out to explain further what he meant in his statement, and those who are reasonable and non-partisan now have a better understanding of what he meant and have accepted he was right, and not those like you who when you believe something you dont leave room for criticism or any other persons' opinion. In other words you dont imagine whoever you believe in will ever be wrong or make a mistake after you have been brainwashed and enslaved to believe him. If he says go ahead and even kill, he is right no matter the circumstance. I still have brain i dont believe the way some of you do, i can still think and disagree where i feel the concept is not correct. Believe whatever you believe but dont come here and show ignorance and lack of tact thinking you are well informed. |

Hoba007:I find it rather funny that from your above definition u don't know that stealing and corruption are two different things......Now a small exercise for; 1.He "stole" millions of naira from the state treasury account. 2. He is a "corrupt" business man. Now inter-change the two words in quotation mark in both sentence.... The truth is,am so disappointed with both of our so called presidential candidates that instead of them telling us what they can do for and how they intend doing it or maybe what they have done....,they result in cheap propaganda and blackmail to the extent they do this rubbish on air at their special stations#smh# And the worst of all,the younth who claimed to be leader of tomorrow and joining our leader to destroy our future because of their ignorance, low level of reasoning, greed, selfishness, poor judges of character, laziness and all sort.My question is if we destroy our tomorrow by the actions of our today, what do we have left to lead. Pls let us be reasonable with our judgement and don't be carried away by the lies and propaganda of leaders. Let them focus on what they can do for us and how they intend doing, they maybe we can decide on who to give our votes. |
