Why should a player play twice for a single age grade competition? That is totally wrong.
It is Allowed by CAF and FIFA for U20 and above. Only FIFA forbids players to play twice for U17.

Sergio Aguero player in the 2005 WYC in Netherland with Messi and Mikel. He also played in 2007 WYC in Canada with Moralez. Aguero was the best player and highest goals scorer in 2007.

Okay, but I personally believe others should be given a chance too.

Alampasu's Transfer in Crisis

Emmanuel Ojo Oladimeji has laid claim to young goal tender Dele Alampasu, who joined the legion of Nigerians abroad, with a move to Portuguese side Estoril Praia on a four-year contract, a deal which will take effect from July 2015.

The Proprietor of Future Stars Academy claims to be the man behind the movement of the youth international from Mighty Strikers to Future Stars and then Abuja Football College.

“I took Dele to Abuja Football Academy with a binding agreement. We did the agreement with his father, who appended his signature.

When asked by SL10 if the agreement was a written or a verbal one, the coach responded,

“it's a written one with thumb print.”

“I have all the documents with me, Mr Kunbi of the Abuja Football College also have his own copies. Yes, Mr Ola Orelaja is our agent. If Dele was Orelaja's son, will he treat him like a slave?

Earlier in the week, it was announced on the official website of Estoril Praia that the UAE U17 World Cup best gloves man had joined the club from Remo Stars.

“This is a way of trying to sideline the real custodians and owners of the rights of Dele. He has never played for Remo Stars. This is a day light robbery,” the coach said in an angry tone.

“On the 12th December 2012, I took Dele to Abuja Football Academy from Future Stars Academy. I don't know where the issue of Remo Stars emanated from.”

Orelaja, the agent that brokered the deal to the Portugal is reported by SL10 sources to have close ties with Remo Stars chairman Kunle Soname.

It was also gathered that the former local government chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA has a Memorandum of Understanding with some clubs in Portugal, hence the need to fast track the deal through his club name.

SL10 sources scooped from Orelaja, who claimed that there was no transfer fee involved in Dele's move to Estoril.

According to Orelaja, the Flying Eagles goalie will earn only his basic monthly salary, but there won't be compensation for the owners of his rights.

Ibrahim: Ndidi Part Of Genk's Plans But Will Be Available

The secretary of the Nigeria Under-20 team Aliyu Ibrahim says Genk of Belgium winter acquisition Wilfred Ndidi will be at next month’s Africa Youth Championship.

Most of the foreign based first team players called up to the Nigeria Under-20 ahead of the Africa Youth Championship were not released by their clubs but Aliyu says Ndidi’s case will be different.

In an exclusive telephone chat with SL10.ng Aliyu confirmed the 18 year old will be released by his new team despite breaking into the first team of the Jupilier side.

"He is a big part of Genk’s plans for the season but I can confirm and I am 100 percent sure he will be with us at the Africa Youth Championship" He told SL10.ng.

Ndidi made his debut last week for Genk but went off injured with a muscle complaint which appears not to be severe as it seemed.

The 18 year old in his first taste of professional football will miss up to six league games if he honours the call to represent Nigeria at the Africa Youth Championship.

Rated as Nigeria best young defender he was at the last Under-20 world cup as a 16 year old and presently is the deputy captain of the Flying Eagles.

Garba Wants Ndidi For AYC

Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba has admitted he is desperate for new KRC Genk of Belgium signing, Wilfried Ndidi to join up with his team, ahead of next month’s Africa Youth Championship.

The 18-year old central defender recently completed the move to Belgium, and has already featured for the Jupiler League side, increasing the possibility of his absence, since the competition is not recognized by world football governing body, FIFA.

“We are missing our best central defender in Wilfried Ndidi but we hope he will join us soon now that he has completed his move abroad.

“We are happy for him but we hope he will join us in time for the Africa Youth Championship.”

The former Golden Eaglets coach however posits that it will not be the end of the world if Ndidi cannot make the team, reiterating that he has other players that can take his place.

“Like I always say, we have so many players that can replace those that are absent but we always want to have our best players, those that can make a difference in a team.

“It will be to our advantage if he can make it, but if he doesn’t, we will have players that can replace him or any other player that is absent.”

No La-Liga Action For Nwakali

Chidebere Nwakali will not be making his La-Liga debut for Malaga anytime soon rather he is expected to turn out for their reserve side playing in the third tier of Spanish football.

The Flying Eagles midfielder joined the La-Liga team on a loan deal which will run till 2017 with no option for Malaga to buy from English champions Manchester City.

He will spend the remaining six months of the season training with coach Salva Ballesta Segunda B side who are currently battling to gain promotion to the second division.

According to reports gathered by SL10.ng his inclusion in the first team will be based on how he performs with the B team and even at that a preseason tour with the main team in the summer is all he can hope for.

As for this season his chances of playing with the first team appears to be nonexistence as 7th placed Malaga continue their push to qualify for the Europa league next season.

Transfer Drama Of Alampasu Continues

https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/200611/7/default.jpg

More controversy has been added to the unending Dele Alampasu transfer saga by Mr Ojo Oladimeji who has blasted Mr Sola Orelaja, disclosing his shock and amazement that the agent could instigate the young lad to bite the fingers that fed him by being part of a grand conspiracy to deny Future Stars Academy and Abuja Football College the contents of the transfer papers that took the goal minder to Estoril Praia of Portugal.

The deal will start running by July 2015, but if the parties fail to settle, the contract might be terminated.

In a report also available to SL10, it was also revealed that a club in Mexico wanted to pay the sum of €0.4m for the services of the Flying Eagles goalkeeper, but some elements kicked against it.

In a chat with sl10.ng, Mr.Oladimeji revealed the events that led to Alampasu joining the Portuguese team and he stated that Mr Orelaja is out to ruin the career of the boy he nurtured from the cradle.

“Where was Orelaja when Alampasu started his career? He is just an agent, who wants to pass through the back door. He has failed in his mission, in fact a futile mission.

“Orelaja has totally brainwashed a player I fed and mentored right from his time in Lagos before he was spotted by Abuja Football Club.

“When did Remo Stars come to the picture? How does Remo Stars expect to reap from where they didn't sow? I can't believe that Remo Stars can descend so low to be involved in this scam, I'm afraid there is foul play. Let Orelaja show us the contract papers of the transfer.

“I took Alampasu to Abuja Football College and he was eventually signed with an understanding, which NFF are aware of. The documents and terms are still intact with us and the NFF.

“Then, people had doubts over his abilities, but I told those who cared to listen that Alampasu is a talented lad and he will excel in his chosen career and the Football College signed him,” said Oladimeji.

“Orelaja openly threatened to get an impersonator to represent Future Stars that is for me the best robbery of the modern era. He is a greedy human being.

He added: “It was then very shocking for me to hear that the same player has been cleared to play abroad but by a different club entirely. Upon investigation I learnt that Orelaja and Remo Stars are behind the whole affair to deny Future Stars and Abuja Football College of what is rightfully theirs.

“That is the problem with African football. People see someone who is using his hard earned funds to sponsor football yet they try and steal from him whereas they will not be willing to spend a dime of their own money to sponsor or support football. You can't eat your cake and have it. This boy actually belongs to Future Stars and Abuja Football College and not Remo Stars or Orelaja.”

Chukwu: Flying Eagles Must Not Get Over Confident

https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/200881/7/default.jpg

Former Super Eagles coach and former technical committee member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Christian Chukwu has warned against over-hyping the Flying Eagles as the enter the last phase of preparations for the Africa Youth Championship.

Chukwu, a former Nigeria captain described the Flying Eagles as a ‘wonderful’ team, but says they don’t need too much praise at this point so they don’t get carried away.

“I have never problems with our junior teams because they have always performed well. The U17, the U20 and the U23, they have all won trophies for Nigeria in the past and I don’t think this Flying Eagles team should be an exception.

“They also played very well at the Super 6 and I think they are a wonderful team with very good players. But we should not let them get carried away before the main tournaments,” Chukwu told sl10.ng.

The former Harambee Stars of Kenya coach however, went on to praise the duo of Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade for putting up such a good team, but maintained that they mustn’t be carried away.

“We have to compliment Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade for the wonderful job they have done, because they have such a wonderful team, but they shouldn’t let the players get carried away with it.

“I hope they won’t be found wanting when the time comes just because they got over-confident,” Chukwu reckoned.

I hope this kind of preparation continues in all level of football in Nigeria. These lads have been impressive.

I like to point out Obinna Nwobodo. He is developing into a classy midfielder. I also wish Chidiebere Nwakali is returned to train with this team. He is better of training for this tournament than being a reserve player at Malaga if he is not going to get La Liga action.

Yeah Obinna is good but dont you think they play better with Mathew / Alfa in the middle.
Mathew is fast, mark better, strong, and with better vision for goal.

Alfa is good but not as good as mathew. He his a bit slow and get out muscled sometimes.

Obinna is smaller, mostly out muscled by bigger opponents, but got delightful touch/ pass and a good vision for goal.

Nwakali would be playing in the third division which is a competitive league. That would help his development.

I am sure, he will move up to la liga next season.

Nwobodo is the next revelation.

I hope his coach at Malaga team B is good and will develop Nwakali.

The Unending Transfer Saga Of Alampasu

https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/200942/7/default.jpg

It's no longer news that Mr Sola Orelaja, the agent who brokered the deal that took Dele Alampasu to Estoril Praia has continued to play ''hide and seek'' game.

According to Mr Ojo Oladimeji, the Proprietor of Future Stars Academy, Orelaja has decided to play the hard way - and has refused to state the terms of the four-year deal that the young goalkeeper signed which will take effect from July 2015.

In our investigation, we were made to understand that Alampasu intially had a trial with Sporting CP. However, he failed to make the grade at the club.

Alampasu was subsequently sent to Estoril, where he was gladly accepted after impressing on trial at the modest club.

It may sound a bit crazy to say that, but if you watched most of the matches Alampasu played for the U17 and the U20 sides you’d understand the importance attached to him. He’s a bright young keeper and I have no doubt if he sticks around he’ll be important for Nigeria in many years to come.

He has been rated one of the best young goalkeepers in Nigeria, no wonder he is considered the heir to Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama.

Resolution is the only to solve this unending saga, I believe the Nigeria Football Federation should intervene on this matter and listen to all the parties involved.

In a letter sent by Tomi Alampasu on the 24th January 2015 to Abuja Football College, it stated;

“My son has been with the Abuja Football College since December 2012. I thank FCA for the opportunity and I know longer want him with the FCA.”

“The reasons why I agreed for him to join the FCA was that he was going to be placed in school. I was told by son that he is not attending any school. This is not acceptable and a breach in the agreement.”

“Secondly, Football College Academy did not send my son to the Nigeria U17 team. Mr Emmanuel Ojo Lawal, the owner of Future Stars Football Academy told me Mr Olusola Orelaja who acts as players' agent of FSA spoke to Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade of Dele's talents and he was told resume with the team.”

“Dele is back training with Future Stars Football Academy where he was spotted by 2012 Lagos State National Sports Festival coaches.”

“Henceforth, Abuja Football Acadeny should stop calling my son as he is no longer your member as this is to officially release him.”

When contacted by SL10 if he was aware of the letter, Director of Abuja Football College, Titiloye Kumbi denied receipt of the letter.

“I'm not aware of this letter, Kumbi told SL10.

He challenged Sola Orelaja to come down to Nigeria and prove his innocence.

“Our stand on this issue remains the same. If Orelaja thinks he is clean and has no skeleton in his cupboard led him come down to Nigeria and face the Nigeria Football Federation on this matter,” he added.

Alampasu Speaks About Portugal Move

https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/200950/7/default.jpg

2013 FIFA U17 World Cup champion, Dele Alampasu has expressed disappointment about the news going round concerning his transfer to Portuguese top division side, Estoril FC.

SL10.ng along with well respected Lagos based journalist, Wale Joseph put a call through to Dele Alampasu who was part of the Super Eagles team at the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa where the home based Eagles pick a bronze medal.

"I am really disappointed with all the stories in the news about my transfer to Estoril in Portugal. It seems many people are not interested in my development and career but only what they can gain, I am a human being and nobody's property. I don't owe Mr Adebayo or Mr Olanrewaju anything, rather they are the one that owe Me". Alampasu remarked in a telephone chat.

He noted that Olusola Orelaja, his agent has done everything within in his power to secure the transfer to Estoril FC, after spending time on trial in Belgium with Genk FC, Spain with Oviedo FC and In Portugal with Braga FC, He has been spending his own money for flights, hotel, kits and pocket money every month since 2013, even before I went to Abuja for the Under 17 National team camp.

Alampasu stated that Mr Orelaja his agent has also been helping both Mr Ojo Olanrewaju and Mr Adebayo financially during this period, so I don't understand why they are talking and making all these allegations in the press against him.

"Yes, Mr Olanrewaju took me to Future Stars at a very young age, with me spending over four years there, Before, Mr Adebayo now took me to Abuja Football College, without the knowledge of Future Stars Academy management. Adding that it was for this reason I gave both of them and their families a lot of money from the gifts and cash I received after the World Cup. " he said.

Speaking further, He disclosed that Mr Adebayo still owes him money which he borrowed him, saying I have not spoken to him since March 2014.

"Even, Mr Ojo Olanrewaju did not own Future Stars, so I don't understand why they are talking to the press about the transfer because it's none of their business."

On the issue of Remo Stars FC, he informed that they only helped him to actualized his dream of signing a professional contract and also developing him better, they didn't make any money from the free transfer because I was physically present at the negotiating table in Portugal.

"On the issue of Abuja Football College, I spent only six months with them after playing and winning gold with Lagos State at the 2012 National Sports Festival, the next is they wanted to sell me to Mexico after the World Cup but I refused, my father too was not comfortable with the move to Mexico, my agent as well is not happy with it, because it was not in my interest. Since then they didn't come with another offer or opportunity. Now I have a contract with a club they are not happy with it.

"Its a free transfer, I am going straight into the first team and not the academy and this makes me happy. So I am begging all this people to leave me alone to further my career as I still have a lot to learn in the game". he concluded.

Alampasu Speaks About Portugal Move

"Its a free transfer, I am going straight into the first team and not the academy and this makes me happy. So I am begging all this people to leave me alone to further my career as I still have a lot to learn in the game". he concluded.
If the deal is a free transfer, I do not think it is worth the fuss and trouble. Dele Alampasu should remember those who helped him climb as he succeeds.

He should continue his support and his assistance.

Nice and insightful post.

Garba Happy To Face The Black Satellites
Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba is excited about the two friendlies they will play against the Black Satellites of Ghana in preparation for the 2015 Africa Youth Championship.

The Nigerian U20’s tackle their Ghanaian counterparts first on Saturday, before engaging the Ghanaians in the second of the games next Wednesday.

And Manu, whose team has been in imperious form, says it is a good test for his lads as the Africa Youth Championship approaches.

“It is a very good test for us really and I am excited about it. It follows the Super 6 tournament which we won, which I think is good for us.

“We are preparing for a very important competition and these games will help give us the competitive edge that we want.

“The Ghanaians are also preparing for the Africa Youth Championship and it is also a good test for them,” he told sl10.ng.

The Flying Eagles are in group A of the competition, with hosts Senegal, Congo and Ivory Coast, while the Black Satellites are in group B, with South Africa, Mali and Zambia.

Manu also feels playing Ghana might help them understand what to expect from their group opponents.

“Ghana are close to Ivory Coast and they share a border, so their style may not be too different. Senegal and Congo are also there and hopefully we will understand their styles with these games against Ghana.”

NFF To Intervene To Resolve Alampasu Debacle

SL10 sources have confirmed on authoritative terms that any moment from now the Nigeria Football Federation will intervene on the dispute over which club rightly owns the playing and economic rights of Dele Alampasu, who recently signed a contract that will start rolling at Estoril Praia of Portugal in the summer of 2015.

The Flying Eagles goalkeeper signed a four-year deal at the Primeira Liga club at the tail end of the last transfer window.

Soon after a big scandal erupted as Mr Ojo Oladimeji of Future Stars Academy and Abuja Football College claimed ownership of the player and as such that Remo Stars were not authorised to transfer the player whom they (Ojo Olademiji and Abuja Football Academy) claim had written and valid agreements as regards the economic rights of the player.

Further controversy arose when the goal minder denied having any agreement with Ojo Oladimeji or Abuja Football College on his future transfer abroad in the past.

However, the aggrieved parties want Olusola Orelaja, the agent that brokered the deal to show the world the terms of contract the promising lad signed in the January transfer window.

The football governing body in Nigeria is expected to set up a committee to look into the matter and all parties are expected to be invited to Abuja to ensure that the issue doesn't escalate than expected.
