Please house, I'm in urgent need of accomodation in the new york area to be used for visa interview. All the ones I come across on google require deposit and I'm trying to avoid that. Anyone know of any hotel/ apartment I can book for in new york without paying deposit? Please really urgent.

Using Ultra Mobile which cost $20 monthly plan. Unlimited Us calls, SMS and credit of over $1.25 for intl calls. Didn't set up the data/Internet and mms service. Visit www.ultra.me/terms and condition to read if it will meet your need. Regards

i think the $29 plan would be better for someone who is visiting for 2 months ( esp pregos from Naija with family) cos it comes with Unlimited talk, unlimited global text, 1Gb data, unlimited international talk, 1000 INT'L MINUTES and $2.50 credit to call anywhere

[quote author=Ochioraumu post=30671993]Hello everybody.
I have been following conversations in this forum for some time now.

Omg...so sorry about your POE experience.. May the good Lord give you the strength to get over it.
It is well my sister.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Nita2013: 4:02pm On Feb 13, 2015
Hiya, pls be informed that the 1000 minutes for int'l call is to only land line and u know in naija I don't think landline exists anymore (or very few). If it's to mobile number, d free 1000 minutes is free 83 minutes.

Also, I used d $29 plan at 1st but changed to $19 cos where I stayed had free unlimited wifi even d hospital had free unlimited wifi too. It is also not compatible with BlackBerry phones.

The $29 plan would be ideal like you said but the 1000 free international minutes to Nig is only applicable to landlines.

Hello Momas and Papas in the house,
If you are using An Android or Apple Phone and some BB Mobiles, you can download Mobile VOIP for your calling, I don't know if its works in US but here Middle East, we are using it to call Naija, for $10 you can be calling Nigeria with 0.0026Cent per min. You can download from www.telbo.com for VOIP

Also if you have Tango on your mobile, They are given 50 Minutes Tango Free Out International Minutes almost every 3 days to call all non-Tango registered mobile number on your contact.

The two works fine if you have stable internet and your receiver do not need internet connection.

That's part of the freebies for Moms in the house. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Enjoy your day.

Good people of NL, pls what is Delta airline's policy on fit to fly cert? What is the maximum no of weeks they carry and the maximum length of time the certificate shld be dated for?
Was also wondering if economy comfort ticket falls under this promo and if we can still make requests such as wheelchair and bassinet with the promo. Thanks.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by shelly23: 6:47pm On Feb 13, 2015
For those looking for phone plans, Rebtel is really good for international calls in case you can't get a local plan that has good international rates. It's an app you download and pay like $10 a month for almost unlimited calls to naija.

Delta doesn't ask for fit to fly letter and economy comfort is considered an upgrade so when buying the ticket, you can request for an economy comfort seat, it shouldn't have anything to do with the promo.
And you can't book for a bassinet unless you've bought your baby's ticket.

@ Ochioraumu, so so sorry for this horrible experience. I won't pretend to understand how you feel. Pls try & staystrong.

My brother was denied entry into a London POE but was given a UK study visa after a few years on the same passport. He didnt use an immigration lawyer though he's a lawyer himself. He appealed the decision in plain written English and his case reconsidered.
I think you need to come home, chill out for a while and reapply. Make sure they hear you out and keep your story as simple as possible.
Your visa was cancelled with prejudice... you can get another non immigrant visa, it won't be easy but you have to prove your intentions clearly.
All the best sis... You will be just fine.

Am only glad i could be a vessel of blessing to someone after-all this I believe is one of the main objectives of this forum. I have a funny feeling it may fall further by next week but guys who haven't bought thier ticket should grab this opportunity. All the airlines are offering some sort of promo/reduced flight fares compared to recent week prices
i bought my wife's ticket with a similar delta awof in October for N112,000 which she used to travel in January and she did not have a single issue as she was given a very good seat different from what was assigned to her on d ticket.

My wife flew with the awuf promo and paid no extra charge.Note that the fligth booking is for houston, its because delta has thier hub in atlanta that you have there as POE and connecting fligths so no rxn to charge extra as you paid for the full journey
