Order of poll - He said it is logical to have the presidential poll first and best to follow it since it has been decided over a year ago after stakeholders' meeting. Time for accreditation especially for large voting populace - There will be splitting into manageable size so that the accreditation can be done faster He confirmed that there is no court case against INEC as at now that can derail/delay/postpone election in response to Sen. Gbenga Ashafa's question 3 Likes |

In a case where a Polling Unit has more than 500 registered voters a voting point will be created and an additional reader is provided. N/B: this cases have already been treated so it is not that morning that the voting point will be created! 4 Likes |

All the explanations of Jega today, show that he actually knows what is doing.Any individual, group,or political party, that will still come out after the awesome explanations and practical demonstration, thatINEC,have given and displayed today, on the floor of the senate,to demand for the non usage of CARD READERS, is definitely an enemy of Nigeria's nascent democracy. 9 Likes |

A card reader takes between 10 - 30 seconds for accreditation of a voter! Note, that's why INEC decided to use students of penultimate year as Ad-hoc staff; knowin well that they must have been exposed to a certain degree of IT! 3 Likes |
