Paul says unmarried serve better BUT elsewhere states that forbidding to marry is a doctrine of Devils and seducing spirits. You know the verses

The entire chapter 7 of 1 Corinthians will do.

here are the relevant verses;
Paul's opinion on who serves better

1 Corinthians 7:32-33 King James Version (KJV)
32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

Paul's warning indicating forbidding to marry is a false doctrine

1 Timothy 4:1-3King James Version (KJV)
4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
