My questions here are these
1. I am 32 years
2. I have a bsc. Estate management
3. Got an admission to pursue a post graduate diploma in construction management.
3. I work but am been paid in cash doesn't reflect on bank statement but my other real estate deals does, presently have a fixed deposit of 2.8million after paying the acceptance fee it would drop to about 2.4million.
4. My elder bro is my sponsor and has a good balance
Pls how do I go about my statement of account since my salary doesnt reflect,
I would appreciate reasonable answers.
Thank you.
Meanwhile I have got my letter of employment, study leave granted, pay slips and letter of introduction to the embassy.

That's my personal Sop. It might be of help to some one. Clue frm pchax. Edited by my very own mr Anugoson.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR STUDY VISA FOR CANADA

My interest to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Critical Care Nursing
at Niagara College,Ontario,Canada is because it has been highly recommended
by more than one (1) Critical Care Registered Nurses (CCRN) i have worked
with,as a college that has noted reputation and professional staff. In
addition, the college provides real-world solutions through applied
research, knowledge transfer activities as well as up to date
technologies. The duration of the course is one (1) year, starting from
May,2015 to April, 2016.
For me nursing was so much than simply a calling,as a girl growing
up, i looked after my mentally challenged brother. The care, love and
attention i gave him came from my heart and was a responsibility i took on
without hesitation.Though sadly he passed on,but my love of extending
compassionate to others continued till date.I have two (2) years
professional nursing experiences one (1) has been in Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) and i am a Registered Nurse (RN) and also a Registered Psychiatric
Nurse (RPN) licensed in Nigeria.I currently work with the Federal
Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital,Nigeria,where my job responsibilities
is to take care of patients  and administer medications. Developing myself
further through Postgraduate diploma program in Critical Care Nursing will
pave way to my goal of becoming a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), a
choice born of wanting a greater depth of knowledge and skills through
theory and supervised clinical
practice using the nursing process,it will also help in stabilizing and
caring for the critically ill client.
In the most practical terms, Nigeria is a developing country and still
facing shortage of CCRNs.I will be coming back to Nigeria after my studies
to improve the health care system of where i am currently working with the
knowledge gained,in order to serve our unique patients in a way that will
make them comfortable and valued.Above all, there is nothing better at the
end of the day,to see a patient get better due to my help/treatment,to my
mind they are my patients for a reason, for their tomorrow and mine.I have
attached relevant documents such as my Employment letter,Leave letter and
payslips to embark on this study from my work place.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

I NO GET METALLY CHALLENGED. BROTHER. NA MAKE STORY SWEET. CHEERS
OMG ..........U can lie for Nigeria ehn.....that brother story caught me before i realize it was just spicy to ur sop....ur sop was well detailed...i luv it..funny u tho

i feel you.. you cant be doing masters and do all that... it must be a diploma course or something.
tnuola:

One thing you should have in mind is that people will never really tell every detail. The fact that it worked for him dsnt mean that it will work for another persn.. In as much as you're not going there to live like a king, you definitely shouldn't go with the mindset of hustling, and then over work yourself, because if one is not careful the academics will suffer greatly.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 8:09pm On Feb 21, 2015
in the same shoe. i just have to start recieving the money in my account now for the next 3months then print a 3month SOA. but your payslips should do na.

3 options:
1.You can risk it with your other docs and your fixed deposit account
2.Mention in your SOP that salary is paid cash in hand and the balance is what has been fixed.
3.for the next 4 months (feb, mar, apr, may) pay the salary into your account monthly and apply June 1st
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hesque: 9:07pm On Feb 21, 2015
Include the payslip and other employment details. Ur coy can also start ur current salary on the letter of intro. I think with that you should be cool.

Hello good people. Congrats to those who got their trv. I am new here and I have lots of questions on my mind regards going to Canada for masters. I have applied to two schools already and awaiting their response for admission offer. My question actually has to do with application for the visa. I have read so much here which has been helpful. However, I am still a bit confused about funding. Does that mean the statement of account must show a lot of money (account balance) ? And how many months account statement is required ? 3 or 6 months I look forward to responses. Thanks all.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by kfrosh: 11:18pm On Feb 21, 2015
It has to show as much money as possible depending on the type of program and course duration. 4 or 6 months statement of account but 6months preferably.

My good people in canny .@fhemmy, Pchax, akani and Co and any one who has testimonies and experience should asnwer.
1.i just got admission to lambton college in ontario through maple education, though i applied through them.lambton college forwarded my admission letter to them directly and they nw sent it to me. Want to know if this admission is legit cos I thought the school is meant to send me the admission letter directly.

2.please is it possible to survive in Canada and hustle ur school fees urself when u get dia? I can only pay first semester tution fee when I get dia. Please from experienced people has anyone being in this shoe where he doesn't have anyone and he has to pay school fees through hustling over dia?
tnuola:

1. The admission is legit, Maple is Lambton's representative in Nigeria.

2. It is not possible to hustle in canada and survive as a student. When school is in session you can only work 20hours per week, and more when on holidays.
The money u make will be sufficient for your bills alone.

Bro, don't let anyone tell you, you can't do something. You won't be the first person working to sponsor himself through school in Canada and you won't also be the last. Your program allows for 6 months coop which is good for you to make some bucks, and you could also take a further semester off if need be to get more.

If you can scale the hurdle of visa processing then good for you. Come here and devise legit means of sponsoring yourself

So I can tell the VO that my salary doesn't reflect on bank statement and also submit it alongside my payslips because I recieve money from other sources into my account.
Please someone should help answer this issue based on experience as most people face this deliama.
How can we tackle this issue when your salary dont reflect on your bank statement but funds from other source reflects on it.
