Barcanista intelligent? Cunning - yes! But intelligent? Has the Oxford dictionary been replaced? That word must have a different meaning.

No wonder the lad has been on a vainglorious pursuit to show FFK that he is worthy of pay. The more threads he opens; the more responses he gets; the more he convinces his paymaster of his abstract influence.

Carry on, keep massaging his ego and let him continue to make money off your praises.

Well, I don't blame you anyway! You have gotten the protection you needed from those who have been pestering your life with monetry rewards that's why you change to support the clueless dunce.
Don't worry,by May 29th when Buhari will be sworn in as president, you will come back to your senses. Right now,do what you were paid to do while it lasts.
Talk of monetary rewards and you want us to believe you're not paid to stay on Nairaland 24/7?

Which Igbo woman would abandon her trade to spew APC rhetoric 24/7 and be friends with the people that ridicule, threaten and cajole her people if she was not paid? You should really take a look in the mirror my dear.

By the way am not Igbo but am riled when I see your kind deride your own for crumbs from Tinubu's table. You should be the last person to accuse any one of being paid.

You are right sir, Barcanista and FFK and myself said many things about GEJ and PDP in the time of blindness and ignorance but now we know better that APC does not have the promised solution. The 'troubulers' of PDP and GEJ are now in APC. PDP has purged itself and disposed all the wastes to APC.
You will see the light soon when the scales fall of your eyes. I dont like PDP but APC is not the option as it is now.
This is true. Our attention then was one sided without looking at the other side of the coin. This by no means justify the APC hypocrisy.

You're not paid to stay on Nairaland 24/7 and be friends with people who deride your people, hmmm. I sometimes cringe when I see you fraternizing with those on a thread who earlier called your people derogatory names. A person remains innocent untill found guilty by a Court
What has stop the PDP jonathan Govt frm prosecuting the individuals u mention

* all pass cases of corruption will be follow by the anti graft agencies
*an APC Govt with GMB will ensure transparency
*
*a person is not guilty untilfound guilty by the court this is what you just quoted and it is applicable only to those who carry brooms everywhere & shout change. But all of you have already tagged & marked GEJ guilty even when he has not been found guilty by anybody nor any court.
*how do u probe someone who sorounds himself with IMMUNITY clause?
*APC states refused to sign into law FOI and PUBLIC PROCUREMENT ACT LAW. The most secretive states in Nigeria today are APC states. Nobody knows what is going on inside these states. People only hear what they are told & they can ask questions. If you dare ask question it will mean that PDP have bought you over.

1. PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT TRUST FUND
The EFCC led by Nuhu Ribadu had indicted then Vice President Atiku Abubakar of misappropriating funds belonging to PTDF. Atiku incidentally was the Chairman of the fund. A FG Committee also indicted Atiku. The Committee report was sent to the Senate by Obasanjo, in his retaliation, Atiku also sent document to the Senate. On looking at critical issues, the Senate found both Atiku and Obasanjo guilty. Obasanjo was indicted for diversion of PTDF fund while Atiku was indicted for misappropriation.

2. FIGHT CORRUPTION WITHOUT FOI?
Since the turn of democracy Nigerians has been wanting to verify and ascertain what government spent and whether or not there is fraud going on. The Freedom of Information Bill was sponsored in the National Assembly and passed in 2007, only for President Obasanjo to VETO it, no opposition progressive protested. Jonathan on assuming office said Jonathan was sworn-in in May 29,2011, two days later he signed the FOI bill into law just 24hrs after presented with the bill. This was greeted by wild jubilation across Nigeria and lovers of Democracy. Ms Ene Enonche, Coordinator of the Right to Know initiative has this to say

http://saharareporters.com/2011/05/31/jonathan-signs-freedom-information-law

However, Governor Fashola rather than show transparency by releasing document on how the World Bank $90million Education Loan were spent, he refused and filed a court suit to stop the process.
http://www.punchng.com/news/education-fund-fashola-to-file-fresh-objection-against-foi-suit-2/

Lagos resident (Dr. Ademola Dominic) petitioned the Lagos State government directly on the 24th of October 2012, asking for a disclosure of public accounts as pertain the tax consultancy fee the Lagos State government pays out monthly to a private company named Alpha Beta Consulting Limited.

The Lagos State Govt replied Dr Dominic on Nov 2nd that his petition for accounts would not be answered and no Alpha Beta Limited invoices or payment vouchers will be disclosed. It was so dismissively written by the Lagos State Ministry of Justice and signed by Olanrewaju Akinsola - a Special Senior Assistant on Justice Sector Reforms in the Office of the Attorney-General.
http://saharareporters.com/2013/02/03/lagos-state-finances-and-alpha-beta-ltd-seyi-olu-awofeso
Alpha Beta is owned by Bola Tinubu

Oyo and Rivers are among two prominent APC states that has refused to implement the FOI by releasing information as demanded by SERAP.
SERAP had asked APC Oyo Gov Ajimobi to disclose spending on primary education. Ajimobi refused saying FOI doesn't concern Oyo State.
http://serap-nigeria.org/foi-act-oyo-governor-sued-over-failure-to-account-for-spending-on-primary-education/

How do we detect fraud without the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION law?

3. PENSION OF APC CHIEFS
Speaker Tambawal and Mark only few days ago passed life Pension for Speaker and Senate President. That means the "Transparent" Progressive Speaker will earn Pension for life whether he's a governor or not.
http://.g./simgad/4017495792813881248

APC Govs and Fmr Govs
In Lagos State, the pension law provides that a former governor is entitled to a pension that is the same as the salary of the incumbent governor. 300 percent of this amount as furniture allowance, two houses (one in Abuja and the other in Lagos), three replaceable brand new cars amongst other benefits. Like Rivers and Lagos States, Kwara, Edo, Gombe and several other states have equally enacted various pension laws to take care of their former leaders. Albeit, at serious financial cost to the states.

At the twilight of his administration, immediate past governor of Gombe state, Senator Danjuma Goje, had reportedly paid himself and his deputy the sum of N300m as executive pension benefits. Danjuma Goje is a member of APC Presidential Committee Council.

Ironically, APC Chairman John Oyegun Justified the immoral pension (of course he's also a beneficiary). In his own words

http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=10057

Goodluck Jonathan never awarded himself any pension as Bayelsa State Governor.

4. We WILL FIGHT CORRUPTION BUT NOT PROBE PAST OFFICIALS
APC Chairman Mr John Oyegun announced that if elected to power, they will not probe past officials but will focus on tackling other issues. Fellow Nigerians, these are the same people that said Jonathan's body language is corruption friendly. What do we call this? It simply means "embezzle as much as you like, come to APC and be saved by the precious and ever forgiving blood of the Progressive. The broom has redeemed you". Do they have something to hide(of course yes).

5. BONUS: FFK Sold His Soul For Defecting Back To PDP But Tambawal Is A Hero For Moving From ANPP-DPP-ANPP-PDP-APC
Fani Kayode has been a member of PDP since 1999, he was SA to Obasanjo and later Minister of Tourism and Aviation Ministries. He became a progressive by defecting to APC in May 2013 www.premiumtimesng.com/news/136372-ex-minister-fani-kayode-dumps-pdp-joins-apc.html. But "sold his soul" to Satan when he returned to his former party in June 2014 according to APC.

On the Other hand, Speaker Tambawal was elected Rep in 2003 under ANPP, he moved to DPP and couldn't get ticket for 2007. He returned to ANPP and was given ticket. He dumped the ANPP to obtain PDP ticket in 2007 and won his re-election becoming Deputy Chief Whip. He was re-elected under PDP in 2011 but again defected to APC in November 2014. He automatically became a progressive and agent of #Change.

Nobody has said APC is a party full of saints. We have the good, the bad and the ugly in every party. We can't because of the fear of the unknown continue with the status quo. This is not only about Change only but being liberated from the shackles of PDP. We just want to try things differently no matter how similar they may appear to be.

On ffk you make an error. How can the president employ someone currently under trial for corruption? Is that wise or seemly? Even this very week he is meant to be in court, so how does that help Jonathans image? He can decamp all he wants but his political influence is just in the same amount as his credibility.

Money laundering: Court adjourns Fani-Kayode’s trial
February 23, 2015 by Ramon Oladimeji Leave a Comment

A Federal High Court in Lagos has further adjourned till February 24 and 25, 2015, the trial of a former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, facing money laundering charges.

Fani-Kayode’s trial was stalled on Monday owing to the absence in court of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s prosecutor, Mr. Festus Keyamo.

The trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, had adjourned till Monday for the ex-minister to open argument in his own defence against the charges of financial impropriety levelled against him.

Though the accused was in court and had proceeded into the dock upon calling the case, a counsel representing the EFCC, Mr. Somadina Okore, however stood up and pointed the attention of the court to a letter written by Keyamo asking the court for an adjournment.

Okore said, “Most respectfully, my Lord, earlier before now, the prosecutor in this matter, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has written a letter to this honourable court, informing the court that he is appearing before a Federal High Court in Yola today. He is praying this honourable court to vacate today’s date to allow him to appear and prosecute this case in person.”

Responding, Fani-Kayode’s lawyer, Mr. Wale Akoni (SAN), said he was aware of the letter and that he had no objection to the request for an adjournment. He also reminded the court that the matter was adjourned till Monday and Tuesday, adding that if it was convenient for the court, his client would go and return on Tuesday to stand trial.

In the circumstance, Ofili-Ajumogobia adjourned till Tuesday and Wednesday for continuation of trial.

I will issue a challenge here. Please name the states of Nigeria that have domesticated the FOI law. As far as I know, Delta, akwa ibom and Abia have not. So do tell us who has and the impact it is making. We all know the EFCC was more alive to its responsibilities before this.

You don't need to result to insult in the face of incontrovertible truth to drive home your point, take note, the smaller the pot the quicker it gets hot.
Buhari may not say it again now but he has said it before and not once. He is more conscious now but remember whatever a drunk says when he is drunk is not from the beer but what he has in him before some bottles.
Buhari is who Buhari is, he may pretend now but not for too long. The truth is, he loves his people, the North and his religion, Islam.
my apology if you feel insulted. But it is important we focus on the reality of the moment. If you are making reference to what Buhari said of which you still have not provided the link for, may I remind you that there is no leader in this country that has made blunder more than Jonathan with proofs, Jonathan is less worthy when it comes to utterances.

Let me tell u sumtin kid, deep down your heart you know it only Buhari who has got that integrity and gods to reduce corruption to the minimum, it only Buhari who Can implement policy that will touch the Masses.
In the eyes of Buhari everyman is the same. Forget Jonathan, he can't fight corruption. Cos he himself is the father of Corruption In PDP
