Nigerian Troops Responsible For Liberation Of Seized Towns – Shettima by papaejima1(op): 2:31pm On Feb 24, 2015
Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima has yesterday said that 90 per cent of the ongoing battle to reclaim seized territories under the Boko Haram terrorists is being carried out by the Nigerian armed forces and not by the foreign troops as “wrongly” perceived by the media.

Shettima insisted that soldiers of Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republics cannot claim undue credits for the current successes being recorded over Boko Haram because the Nigerian forces are playing larger role in the exercise.

“We appreciate their efforts and support for the government of Nigeria, but it should be known that the bulk of the job of cleansing our society of these Boko Haram lunatics is being done by officers and men of the Nigerian armed forces who are ably supported by the Nigeria Air force”

Shettima seems to be the only APC member that knows and appreciate the fact that the millitary are crushing boko haram and that jonathan is doing everything possible to curtail them

Why can't APC warriors be as sensible and patrotic as this man

Yar'adua died on 5th May 2010, so Goodluck has governed this country for only 4yrs 9 month And inspite of Bokoharam we have witnessed transformation in various sectors of our Nation, Imagine a second term without BokoHaram distraction.

I vow to do more - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

Give credit to whom is due. Even gej himself said that the success we've recorded so far is as a result of the coalation and support we are getting from our neighbours along that region. Dont completely write off the foreign soldiers from the successes recoorded so far; it might cause discord between us and our neighbours who are also involved in the fight. It is too early to start taking glory.

The guy just got a brain wave that it was most definitely not in his best interest politically,to continue to be on record as the number one individual disparaging and denying the efforts of the Nigerian military in light of the current events in Borno state .
Election don come, some people don get emergency wisdom.

Thank You Shettima! I will continue to say that support for the Military and the C-in-C is a noble and patriotic duty.
