In Nigeria, when we nab foreign spies, we immediately take them to court and prosecute them. Same way we did with this Iranian quds force operative in 2011.

While in South-Africa, your weak SSA, allows foreign spy agencies operate with impunity. The Rwandans operate how and when they like, Nigerians, Senegalese, Israelis, Americans, brits, Iranians etc etc

The cables have shown, like we already knew, South-Africa is very vulnerable to outside manipulation.

The Intelligence services need a complete overhaul.

SA has not started developing in 1994. We only changed the names of governments departments and transform them according to democratic principles.

SA had always been top of the range since 1800 when Nigeria was still a bush.

Ever figured out lately why BBC, CNN, AFP, Reuters, etc., are not able to report those absurd and false claims of Chadian, Camerounian, and Nigerien heroics on "Nigerian territory"?

The story below tells it all. That's how the NA rolls. We don't tolerate nonsense for too long!

cool cool cool

Cameroon and Nigeria come to agree on "the need for a coordinated control of the media" in the field of information concerning the fight against cross-border insecurity.

This resolution is contained in the final communiqué that sanctioned the 3rd session of the Border Security Committee held late last week in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé.

The two countries have agreed, however, to consult before any media said information transmission in order to "avoid jeopardizing the safety of operations."

On cross-border security in general, Cameroon and Nigeria have agreed to the acceleration and finalizing the protocol conduct of military operations on the subject of frequent organization of bilateral maritime exercises, improvement and intensifying the exchange of intelligence in the fight against money laundering.

The drug trafficking, weapons and other forms of illegal and criminal activities, extradition of suspects to conduct such activities, establishment of vigilance committees or the organization of information and awareness campaigns cross-border communities, traditional leaders.

SAAF cannot deploy ANY aircraft in contested airspace, ZERO aviation fuel

SANDF has never deployed a brigade to war zone in it's entire history.

Nigeria deployed 3 full brigades of 15,000 troops, armour, artilery, jet fighters, and warships in Liberia/Sierra Leone all at the same time into war.
.
It doesn't change the fact you can't deploy aircraft in contested air space.

You can't utilise your fighters during bad weather and the night. Your air force jets to deploy need an airport.

Who was the enemy in Liberia and Sierra Leone? LOL

15 000 for a job that less than 150 SA trained men could do?

Quantity has a certain quality? What's the quality of your men? 1000=1 SA trained soldier.

Brigadier=Captain.

At least, we have a complete local defence industry to invigorate our aging and obsolete weapons and give them a completely new face. We have done it with out centurion tanks, Mirage jets, G5 and 6s, etc. We have a big industry that we do not even rely on the outside world to feed our military scrap chips that they do not need anymore. We fought the bush war under strict arms embargoes with locally produced weapons. Tell us who will maintain your ageing and obsolete weapons?

Like i've said multiple times, Nigeria has, and continues to deploy in hostile airspace.

You have only 10 Half-French Helicopters.

Yes, you keep saying it - but you cannot list one single instance of your airforce deploying in a contested airspace

11 modern helicopters

Nigerian Airforce has ZERO modern helo's

What evidence do you have of foreign agenicies operating with impunity?

Mossad tried to operate - and their operation was foiled

Nigeria tried to operate - and you got nabbed by CUSTOMS OFFICIALS

There is zero evidence to suggest anything you are saying.

How?

You dummy, the only thing American is it's Ford F550 chassis. Many LAV's are built on this chassis, from Pitbull, Kraz, MK III, Plasan Lav.

And, according to the logic you apply to the Rooivalk, it makes them 50% American

Its also 50% South African btw

It says 140 foreign spies, and that in it self is a conservative number. 140 spies could be from 140 spy agencies, nobody knows.

Read the Cable wording, South-Africa is exposed at every level, both in government and security.

The wording also states, Spy agencies have access to the government of South-Africa at all levels.

If this isn't un-restricted access, I don't know what is?

You should bury your head in shame, like an ostrich. Your SSA has proven to be incompetent at all levels.

So you admit you lied about the wording and invented facts?

It says 140 spies, leave it at that. Dont go around inventing facts.

It also says "access to all areas of government" not "access to all levels of government"

Stick to facts

Is the SSA incompetant? Maybe, but they are still FAAAAR better than your own clandestine service who cannot even evade lowly customs officials!! Even the Guptas could do that grin grin grin

You have 10 Half-French attack Helicopters in active service. The zulu government ordered 12, one of them crashed, and was beyond repair, the other is used as a "lab rat" at some institute.

Nigeria has a total 54 attack Helicopters, all of them up-graded.
