Did you grow up there? anyway, Oke means a child who was born with the amniotic covering still intact. any other meaning is based on tone and might be something different. |

tpiadotcom:I was part of the thread a while back. That 'Orun' is what I take as the wellspring of the Yoruba, not the circumstance of birth of a child. So, my humble submission is 'oruko amutorunwa' means names with philosophy derived from the wellsource. |
