Well, I partially agree with u but u're saying dat because u finished frm a univ of technology and guess what? dos specialized awards (B.Tech, B.Eng) are overrated. A graduate with B.Ph (Pharmarcy) is immediately inducted into d profession. A law graduate goes straight to law school and is immediately addressed as "Barr". A med and Surgery graduate, same and so on.
Conversely, as an engineering graduate, I will nid @ least 5 years of working experience plus some seminars, projects and exams b4 I am recognized as a real engineer. So tell me, what's d essense of my "special" degree called B.Tech or B.Eng?

Bros....don't qoute me wrong,am not saying all theses things matters ooo,what am just saying is that all these degrees are laid down for specific reasons
There is great disparity between these degrees especially against engineering but we are just saying this to let ourselves know d correct terms for various courses..the same reason why u can't give engineering B.sc is d reason why school or faculty of engineering is different from School or faculty of science,I hope u get my point?
The reason why most schools award B.tech or B.sc for engineering is because of probably NUC accreditations
I remember when computer engineering had not bin accredited in my school,they do award them B.tech
