Nairalanders, What Do You Make Of This Buhari' Statement? by Jimwalex(op):
General Muhammadu Buhari made a statement in the just concluded interaction session at the Royal Institute
of International Affair, Chatham House, in London, the
United Kingdom, that caught my attention. He said...

“standing before you is a former military
dictator and a democracy convert.”

Would it be safe to say that, with such statement, he has been able to answered or convinced those who still see him as a dictator and those that are still skeptical about supporting him for the fear of his antecedents?

He's saying the fact about himself. Obama is once a dictator if not known until he became America president.

Obasanjo baba iyabo is also a dictator before conversion.

Era of military is different from civilians.

Remember, Jonathan ones said he's not using up to 40% of his presidential powers, that if he do, he will be called a dictator. Meaning that if you give a dictator a presidential powers, he can decide to use 90%. or more.
