Why is Folake not here up till now @OP.

Kingolaola, this kind of internet plan u subscribed to is somehow o. U appear at night and disappear in the morning. I know u have a lot bothering out there but don't also forget that there are people following this thread, who want ur feedbacks concerning Folake's health. There might be new people here too who wish to contribute, but ur irregularity might discourage them.
If u don't have time, employ someone to handle this for u. Always keep us updated!

How does one convince people to assist, when the one that they have assisted, they dont know if it even got to where it should go or if it is even making any positive difference.

You know how long it took for you to convince people that this wasnt a scam and people left what they were doing just to verrify and report just to ensure that Folake gets the help that she needs . . .Dont they at least deserve to know how she is faring?

Anyway its up to you, but I want you to remember that what you do/dont do is not just about you. It affects everyone.

I really can't understand why kingolaola refused to answer all the questions you asked him before regarding the course of treatment and expected cost. I pray all is well with Folake. Even with his current data plan, his updates are not good enough.

I am so sorry that my presence here has been so faint in the past days. I broke down and yet I still have to do things during the day. I struggled to do everything. So sorry I have disturbed my god people's emotionally.

As For Folake, She will finish her present treatment at Eko hospital. We were suppose to go to Ghana but she has been reacting cold to the idea. She is skeptical about being in a strange land without much people around her.

She still have about 3 Chemo sessions in Eko Hospital and the doctor is even reacting since we mention Ghana to him.

Folake will be here probably today. I will help her to open an account as soon as I finish typing this message. She has issues with her molar and that really dis-stabilized her in the past few days.

We are still making more consultations with the medically experienced ones and even here in Nairaland. Please we also want your suggestions.
One of my siblings will also come here and she will be helping me to attend to questions as well as updates.

Thank you everybody for your love, interest and concern on Us (Folake, me and my family).

I will also try to update the donation post.

The above statement is quite worrying as it gives the impression a firm decision on the next step hasnt been made and hence no clear mark in sight, I thought we have gone beyond the suggestion stage and the donation is for a specific line of action.

If at this stage being in a foreign land without family is giving Folake cold feet, then it seems priorities are definitely not in line with most of the nairalanders, especially those that have contributed money and prayed to ensure that she is completely healed.

The bottomline is we do not know the next stage of action, hence we do not know how much it will cost and not in a position to determine how much is actually needed.

Its not easy trying to juggle everything, but we are all in this together and that is why we are all concenrned

Movig forward, I think you need to sit down with your doctors to work out a treatment plan for her
You need to extablish What exactly the Ghana doctors going to do as well as checking that there is no treatment overlap between them and Eko hospital
Have the Ghana doctors even seen her at all?
You may need to speak to the Eko hospital and ask their opinion
You may also want a second opinion from a reputable hospital
Then you can decide what next to do based on what is best for her.
She has to be in support of whatever that you choose cos her mental health too is very important and that goes hand in hand with her physical health
She is already going through a lot and may be frustrated and discouraged
Right now she needs all the support and encouragement and it may mean that some of you will have to drop everything and go to Ghana with her, if Ghana is best place for treatment for her.
All will be well with her in Jesus Name.

Glad that you've finally given an update. Now kindly ensure issues raised like travelling plans, having a solid discussion with Eko hospital doctors, treatment plans etc are looked into and updates given accordingly.
