Though it is a commendable effort, however, did innosson vehicles just started production that some Nigerians now see our president supporting indigenization. Neither does innoson produce arms and ammunitions. Why can't the govt establish one in the east?

exactly..especially light arms and attack weapons..is it not shameful that a country as big as Nigeria can't produce common pistol and AK47 rifle?

Innoson does not design cars. Innoson nigeria assembles cars already desgined in China.

thats why he needs licence and supervision from the FG/DICON. Its only when when our security outfit is commercialize that we can make greater impacts. Atleast no one will wait for the govt to disburse money before carrying out production and the motivation for gain will go a long way to put more on the table

Sure, if the project was to provide more cars for ministers or government use in nigeria.
This however is a different issue, we have an agency responsible for this already with the qualified and experienced personnel to carry out such projects, why give it to an amateur?

Besides these companies you mentioned design and produce a product invited the government for a test, where this product/machine/weapon is put on display and it's full capabilities are witnessed, if the government is interested only then does the government place an order.
No be like this failed system of a sheet hole where a private company uses government money for experiments.
That's y we have stupidly rich people in this country and no one knows how they got their money.
