APC will start a rumor to gain cheap popularity and then use another rumor to end it. Any news from The Nation media is fake. What a shameful party that will be totally obliterated come March 28. Continue to be deceived by bunch of blood sucking murderers APC has in the north and their brothers in south west. may 29 is sacrosanct for the inaugural ceremony of GEJs second term opin office. The northerners have woken up. Watch out.

Sending Prof. Jega on leave has only been in the imagination of the noisemaking and brain dead APC. Their intentions ofcourse is to keep making noise while hitting up the polity. And, it has never been in the interest of the electorate. No wonder they are Ja n ja weedians.

His Excellency, the president has said it and reiterated it many a time that he had no such intentions. Now to save face, these mumus have written this article as long as Benin-Ore road so their foot soldiers won't let us sleep.

...the initial postponement of the election was like "noise making and from dead brain APC",until it was actually postponed by GEJ & Cronies. An untrustworthy government should expect folks to predetermine his every move. GEJ made the people of Nigeria to not trust him...

You have your opinion, I don't even know you to start thinking of fighting with you over it. But, what I won't take is you speaking for me! Who is "people of Nigeria" and who made you their mouthpiece?

I am a Nigerian, and I "trust" him.

Even dough, Jega is no longer to be trusted, yet my able president has said he won't remove him or ask him to proceed on terminal leave even dough he has the power. This shows that my president is not desprate to remain in the seat unlike the APC that will go any lent just to see they succeed.
Nigerians should understand that elections should not be based on party but on individual who can really govern well.
For me, it's GEJ till 2019

My opinion is that PDP is planning something outside of the elections, what ever it is will likely not be in the interest of the nations. People should not jubilate yet.

This is a clear case of A man(GEJ) who tells his friends(Nigerians) he is not interested in taking dinner(forcing Jega on terminal leave), the enemies(APC) hears it and comes out to tell everyone who cares to listen that they were going to starve the man of his dinner and because the man wasn't interested in taking the said dinner, it looked like it was his enemy that starved him.

With due respect, can you just STFU. Were you not there when the speculation was rife about the election postponement? did it not happen? Every rumour about that crazy shoeless assswipe can be construed as gospel.

I think those of us making noise on whether Jega will be asked to proceed on leave or not are the ones heating up the system. Mr President had already addressed this issue as pertinent as it seems. Or has any letter been served to Jega that is attracting this public outcry. Pls let's know when to speak and when to keep mute

Please people should respond to this question. Are all the MILITARY GENERALS still with GMB?

In all fairness, the minister did not say anything contrary that should lead to over speculations. He said Jega's tenure would go the natural path synonymous with the civil service rules and regulations which is in no way strange. The INEC chairman is not a political appointee either as was mentioned in the post. I stand to be corrected on this.

Without side taking, in as much as i admire this academic exercise, jega's issue was a mere speculation, that received attention during the last media chat and was put to rest by the president. That was on video and can be called up at anytime if the speculation sailed through as evidence. Why continue to heat up the polity on this issue, like traunt students; I think someone or some people are either trying to cover something up or distract focus. All this noise could be useful is the unlikely happens, but until then, next topic please...!
