The All Progressives Congress (APC) from the South-West zone has rejected the late post-national meeting summit where some Yoruba pioneers embraced President Goodluck Jonathan for the second term in the workplace.

South west is for PDP, ask Fayose

Bola Ige once said the South-west was educationally more advanced than the rest of Nigeria by at least 50 years.

He was right and that's why I think the yorubas will not be easily influenced by a bunch of "elders". They will vote based on their convictions, largely (of course the recent Ekiti/rice/fayose saga has asked questions of the "intelligence" of the yorubas. . )

The truth is both PDP and APC will share the votes in the Southwest. Thus, it will be wrong for PDP to say 'Southwest will not vote for APC' and also wrong for APC to say "Southwest will not vote for PDP" NONE of them can speak for us. We South westerners will vote based on our conscience and the votes will count. What these people should do is to continue to campaign and sell their programmes. This is not the North where people will say 'Sai Buhari' blindly or South south where people will shout 'GEJ" on sentiments...this is SOUTH WEST, the home of the independent minds!!!
