Owerri is hospitable, livable and beautiful.

Watched Rochas Okorocha campaign for reelection recently, it said he built: "Freedom Square, Hero’s Square, Bongo Square," - they are like Stadiums and in Owerri which already has Dan Anyiam Stadium.

But Okorocha partially destroyed the Orlu Sam Okwaraji Stadium which is the only stadium outside Owerri in Imo state. The remainder of the stadium is left in ruins for the last four years.

Is Okorocha normal?

Millionaireman You can canvass for more projects in Orlu without making it look like you are in some sort of rivalry with Owerri. There is enough money for Okorocha to site projects in every nook and cranny of Imo state if he is serious.

I think millionarman canvasses for projects in Orlu.

But I have concentrated on Okorocha repairing damages he did.
Wonder why some of you believe that any thing that goes to any other part of Imo is a subtraction from Owerri;
never touched you that a state governor could pull down an only sports stadium without first getting a new one.

The pictures of that Orlu stadium left to decay have gone viral on social media. Only a fellow apparently from the zoo like you cannot copy and paste them any where.

Only a foolish Imolite who has no value for money can brood when a mention of the state of the stadium was made, because mention of our mega city, Owerri, was also made.
I even opened a thread on the ugly state of the stadium about six months ago on NL.

But before you suffer a heart attack, note that despite Okorocha's apparent drive to make Owerri a New York over-night, with denial of meaningful development projects in Orlu and other towns in Imo state, there appears to be tens of thousands of other voters here in Orlu prepared to vote Okorocha for second term.

You should know that Imo State does not start and end in Orlu. We have Okigwe Zone which has been abandoned by Gov Rochas.

I have been following this thread, though I don't comment much here, so my question is Are you for real? You keep boring us with this stadium thing, can't you say something better for once

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 2:20pm On Mar 04, 2015
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State
has taken a swipe at the former governor
of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi telling him
that no amount of verbal attack on him or
leading the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)
governorship candidate, Emeka Ihedioha’s
campaign would make PDP win in the
forthcoming elections.
The governor who reacted at what he
described as unwarranted attacks on him
through his Senior Special Assistant on
media, Sam Onwuemeodo in a press
statement, said that since the ex governor
have persisted, he had no choice but to
suspect that Obi have been envious of his
political career, hence reasons for the
attacks.

He alleged that the only contribution Obi
has ever made to the national politics of
the South-East people was to mortgage the
All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party
which he formerly belonged with PDP.
Okorocha in the statement wondered why
Obi after purportedly disappointed APGA
could now become the Chief Campaigner
for the PDP and its Candidates.
“That was also the reason why for eight
years he was governor in Anambra State,
he could not add any value to APGA.
Infact, he could not even secure majority
in the Anambra State House of Assembly
for the Party .Governor Okorocha does not
need to run any leader in the South-East
down before making his impact in national
politics felt or before getting to the level
God has destined him to get to, in his
political career.
And Chief Obi should also know that
labouring in vain to run Okorocha down
for reasons best known to him would be
effort in futility. And for the PDP and its
governorship Candidate in Imo, they must
have given Chief Obi a dead political
project to execute” part of the statement
reads.

Abagworo, Okorosha is a drowning rabble-rouser, nobody not even Obi will be envious of a potbellied unlettered clown. Obi did not join issues with Okorosha. Infact Obi was campaigning for the PDP candidate, so if the clueless fellow called Okorosha has any issue, he should go and sort it out with Ihedioha the PDP governorship candidate in Imo state.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by RareDiamond: 2:42pm On Mar 04, 2015
OBI IS NOT IN A POSITION TO CONDEMN OKOROCHA OR OBIANO. HE IS PROPELLED BY SELF INTEREST.

My friend stfu. Did you read anywhere that Obi condemned the clown called Okorosha? Okorosha is an ordinary rabble rouser propelled by the evil spirit that is tormenting him.

Peter Obi claimed Okorocha borrowed money and that standard of education has dropped under Okorocha. These are unsubstantiated and based on doctored data and media manipulations. He has no right to tell such lies in the open.

Okay come to think of it, is Imo state not owing over 100B? Educational standard?? That's a matter for another day altogether..

Let me remind you that Okorosha made worse statements during Anambra governorship election when he came here to campaign for Ngige last year. He made a lot unsubstantiated comments but we let that slide because we knew Ngige was never gonna win. You are hurt because the can of worm has just been opened.
