My Experience With APC Campaign Call Center by segethy(m): 4:23am On Mar 05, 2015
It was around 4:30pm on monday 2/3/2015 when i saw my phone ringing. It was a strange number but i decided to pick it up to know who it was. And i had the following conversation with the caller on the other end. It was a ladies voice.

Caller: Hello, am i on to Mr. ....
Me: Yes. Who is on the line?
Caller: My name is .... Calling from APC campaign call center in Lagos.
Me: Ok
Caller: Have you gotten your PVC?
Me: Yes
Caller: Thats good. Am calling to tell you to vote for General Buhari.
Me: Can convince me as to why i must vote him?
Caller: Because the present President have been there for six years doing nothing.
Me: And do u think its possible for a president of a nation elected by the people to be in office for six years doing nothing? I think you're wrong.
Caller: What am saying is that we need a change in this country.
Me: Yeah. I know that. But you need to convince me on why i should vote your candidate for change. The present president, i know. I have heard of GMB in the past but i was still a todler when he was president. Now give me some facts about him that can convice me further that he is the change that we need.
Caller: I thinks he is the right choice we have on ground right now.
Me: Am sorry i'll have to cut you off the line now. Reason is because, if it is true that the presedent has been doing nothing for the past six year, then am sure there wont be a country called Nigeria again. And although, i already made up my mind on whom to vote but our conversation right now is giving me a big concern and i might have to pick his opponent (just saying that to let her know she was pointless and if u campaign like this a country like USA, your candidate is finished).

I dropped the call but few seconds later she called me back and appologise for not convincing enough and begged me not to change my mind base on our conversation.

I am not a member of any political party in Nigeria but i feel the approach of politians toward this elections (as a means of campaing) has been pointless, a waste of resourses and unnecessary. Picking the likes of Fayose, FFK, OBJ, Tinubu, Okupe etc verbal attacks on each other is so childish. I dont even listen nor read their comments anymore. I think our politicians should stop their blackmailing (propaganda) and start teaching thier followers how to convince Nigerians with their campaign rather than just talks of hatred and blackmail. Opinions are allowed.

Thank you. I just have to give my point on other flaws by our so call leaders over this election. I happen to watch some on the USA presidential campaign, and i loved it. They do throw jabs as well but in a very sweet and lovely way. You wont even know cause they dont mention names. If they (politicians) have been showing maturity, i believe their followers will also act right and will take their time to work on facts and feed us on that rather than just saying " vote this" or " vote that" without solid facts. Thanks again

This is the reason I don't take any of them serious, the propaganda, blackmail, name calling and mudslinging is just too much...

From bribing CAN with 7billion (without any tangible proof) to spending 5billion of chatham engagement (without any tangible proof), the list of propaganda just goes on...

It is obvious APC hasn't given indepth training to its Call Center Agents. It shows a worrying tardiness in the Party's execution of an otherwise great idea. However, could you have gotten something better when there are numerous unemployed/underemployed Nigerians who will take up any job without any real interest in it.

Are you voting for a call centre agent? or is this the latest in the endless series of your propaganda? but if it is this one is too dumb!!

Well said only few nigerians, see through all these BS our politicians throw around.

I was in a bus some days ago travelling and some supposed informed youth were discussing on which party they would like to vote for, after listening to much of their rants I decided to ask them their reasons for their choice of candidate, I was shocked from the response I got.

The reasons they gave was just too ridiculous and most of it came from the propaganda campaign our politicians use to deceive gullible lazy nigerians, who do not do their own research and get facts about the candidates contesting...

You will be surprised that a lot of gullible nigerians will vote based on the propaganda campaign been thrown around by our politicians, may God save us in this country

I agree with your point... Though the call center was unnecessary, i still feel good it was created cos it will surely put food on some people's table. I hope PDP does thesame. Citizens (especially youth) occupied with such job wont think of political (physical) violence. But it wound have been better if they had been orientated properly. I hate money being wasted

If they have a call center and they have people calling to campaign for their candidates, they should know better to put people who are polite and understand what they are there for. A campaign line that states the present president has been there for 6 years doing nothing isn't a good line at all. Tell the people what APC can do better, how APC plans to improve the life of the common man amongst others.

YOUTHS OF #NIGERIA ‪VOTE WISELY!

If 73 year old General Buhari becomes President, he will invite all of his ELDER friends to TAKE OFFICE and SLEEP ON DUTY!

There is NO WAY he would allow a youth to occupy ANY OFFICE!

Do we want to be PUSHED DOWN while old retired statesmen take over our JOBS and OUR NATION?

Or do we want a President that EMBRACES youth development so much that he believes the next Presidential candidate should be EVEN YOUNGER than he is?

There is a time for EVERYTHING! General Buhari's time is OVER.

This is the time for YOUTHS TO SHINE UNDER PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN!

Thank God you said I attacked the post and not the poster like you pdP IGS normally do.

There's every possibility that the poster is lying. EVEN IF HE'S NOT I STILL PUT IT TO HIM THAT HE'S LYING!!

I've listened to campaign speeches of the various candidates and I most say I'm most impressed from the articulate and issue based campaign from the APC camp, the vision, mission and how they'll possibly transform the the nation to where it deserve to be

while the other is campaigning rigorously and assassinating the character of the former.

So call centre or no call centre, I'm no APC member I've been convinced beyond reasonable doubt that buhari is the saviour Nigeria needs!!

REAL ‪#‎NIGERIANS‬ ARE RIDING ON PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S TRANSFORMATION TRAINS!

Do YOU doubt that ‪#‎Nigeria‬'s train system has been renovated?

TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF! Famous actress MERCY JOHNSON, along with MANY OTHER Nigerians have snapped SELFIES of themselves in one of President Goodluck Jonathan's renovated trains as PROOF that he has changed our nation FOR THE BETTER!

3000km out of the 3.505km RAIL LINES across the country have been rehabilitated, including the Enugu-Portharcourt, Lagos-Kano, Portharcourt-Maiduguri, and FCT Lightrail!

Do you live near a TRANSFORMATION TRAIN? WE would LOVE TO SEE YOUR SELFIE!

Post them, and show ALL NIGERIANS that President Goodluck Jonathan REALLY IS PROGRESSING OUR NATION!

VOTE WISELY NIGERIANS, VOTE FOR PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN!

GMB SUPPORTERS, can you name just ONE CRITIC President Goodluck Jonathan has JAILED in his term?

NO? YOU CANNOT THINK OF A SINGLE ONE?

Then WHY would you vote in a man that jails EVERYONE that critics him?

At this rate, if General Buhari gets into Aso, he will go on a jailing spree and UNLEASH MADNESS ON ALL #NIGERIANS‪ !

ASK YOURSELF: Do you want a regime that JAILS and TERRORIZES journalists, or a regime that TRANSFORMS #Nigeria‪ 's health, environment, agriculture, transport, aviation, water resources and MANY OTHER SECTORS?

Tai Solarin, Tunde Thompson, Nduka Irabor and the very popular Fela Kuti were ALL JAILED UNDER GMB!

VOTE WISELY NIGERIANS!

#NIGERIAN DRIVERS SHOULD THANK PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN!

INFRASTRUCTURE IS completely renovated because of OUR PRESIDENT'S tremendous effort!

Now instead of facing BUMPY, DANGEROUS roads, our drivers will be ENJOYING the transformation of #Nigeria 's major highways such as the Lagos-Ibadan road, Kano-Maiduguri, and the FCT 10 lane highway!!

President Jonathan is working on roads ACROSS THE COUNTRY including the Apapa-Oshodi Expresway, Benin-Ore-Shagamu Highway and Enugu-Port Harcourt, Onitsha-Enugu expressway, Abajana road, Kogi State and many others!

LET OUR PRESIDENT CONTINUE THE TRANSFORMATION!

He is the BEST PRESIDENT NIGERIA HAS EVER HAD!

Be sincere. Not doing enough is not thesame as doing nothing. Even a crawling child that schatter everything in the room can not be considered doing nothing (if you know what i mean)... Am in for change (no doubt). But going by the lady from the call center? Nah! She be bad market for APC campaign
