Pls everybody in this forum, i want you to comment on what age can a matured girl get married. My question arises from the way girls in Ota, Ogun state gets married at earlier/early age compared to ladies here in lagos who gets married at matured/adult age.

So please i want the house to state and give reasons if needed.

If its a guy, 26 is the right age to start thinking about it and for ladies 22 is the age for them if they want to enjoy their remaining life after marriage.

But if they are totally under their parents, they must get the approval of their parents, irrespective of their age.

24 to 28 atleast but that depends on if the lady is fully ready to settle down.
Infact age is just a number

At the age of at least 23-25. She shouldn't be less than that range, cos this our parents generation where teenage marriage was rife, with or without the girl's consent.

I think 25 years is okay. Anything above that she'll start being vulnerable to guys who proposes just to eat from her cookie jar.

I wonder why peoople allow others to decide for them on when they should get married. Are we not supposed to have minds of our own?
Maturity is important. marriage aint for kids. If you dnt understand what you are going to do in a university, dnt go to a university. If you are sooo young or of age to marry and yet you dnt understand what that word MARRIAGE means, dnt get married. You ought to know yourself first, know what you want, know and be sure of the kind of partner you can spend the rest of your life with and know how to make a marriage work and be happy. If you dnt know any of these, dnt get married. Knowing all of these wont be possible at a young age because you are constantly learning a lot about yourself as you mature. There are people in their 30s who still dnt know what they want. Thats why teenage marriage isnt advisable. What you liked at 18 years wont be what you would like at 22 and even at 25. Things change, preferences change. Marry at an age in which you are stable and mature mentally, must have known what you want out of life, your purpose and what you can contribute to life and your partner.

Age is not all that matters in marriage and as for me i ll say its maturity that really matters as its possible to see a 22yrs old lady that is well mature than a 32yrs old lady. so in my own opinion i think when a lady is matured enough to handle and understand another person other than herself then shes ready....

One of the few questions that gets ladies angry....lol. Those within the age range of 18-20yrs will say 22, those within the age range of 22-23 will say 24, while those within the range of 24-25 will say age is jst a number....lol
